Just because someone makes a joke about raping a child doesn’t mean he’s pro child rape (it could just be shock humor which is all about saying the sickest most disgusting things possible to shock people). Just because someone says/implies they support Nambla and other pedophile associations doesn’t mean they really do (it could just be fake endorsement because fake endorsement of something wrong is another form of shock humor). Just because someone makes a joke about ANYTHING doesn’t mean they agree with or support whatever that is. A popular kind of humor is pretending to be someone you’re not and saying things you don’t really think or agree with. As for Family Guy, I never said anything about the makers, I was talking about the audience. You said people who find humor like Gunn’s funny must be mysogynists, sadist psychopaths and pedos but millions of people find that kind of humor funny which is why millions of people watch shows like Family Guy and thousands of people watch Troma movies. I do think he's mainly joking about these things, I don't actually think that he started punching his girlfriend because she didn't fit inside a mini fridge...I mean, come on.
But it is yet another "joke" that does him no favours at all on top of the all the other weird "jokes" that he's made. Might not mean anything by it, he could just have a really warped sense of humour but yeah I wouldn't really want him around my hypothetical children.
