Tarantino. Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Kill Bill 1 and 2 are brilliant.
Nolan's only good movie is Batman Begins.

Nolan by default. The only Tarantino movie I like is Jackie Brown.

Who is the better filmmaker and why? You should turn this into a POLL, I think that you might get some interesting results from it.

Probably Nolan but it is close. I still need to see more of their movies to make a full disclosure.

Nolan.
Why? Because he gave us The Dark Knight Trilogy and as a huge Batman fan I'll always be eternally grateful to him for that.
I don't really enjoy Tarantino movies all that much. Oh, I don't deny that he's talented, but he's just not for me.

Tarantino has never made a good movie. You’re right. He has never made a good movie. He’s only made great movies.

They are both equally great at what they do.
All I can say is that I prefer Nolan's style and stories.

Tarantino, cause at least he can write good female characters unlike Nolan

QT because great writing for me is more everlasting than great direction. 2 of QT's films make my top 50, only 1 of Nolan.
It's fairly close enough though.

I think they are both talented filmmakers. Nolan is probably a little more ambitious and overall I probably enjoy Tarantino's films a bit more, but I'm not the biggest fan of either of them.

Tarantino just. Neither is in the top 50 directors but they've each had a few pretty good movies.
