I hope for their sakes they stop relying on bowling all rounders at 7 and 8 to make them significant runs. Ali and Curran can hold the stick, but like Woakes before, shouldn’t be relied upon. It’s like Australia relying on Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc or Shane Warne to average 30-35 in the middle order. How many bowlers do they need ? Anderson, Broad, Curran, Ali, Rashid AND Stokes ? Pick a batsman FFS.....
