There is no "cinematic" achievement with MCU. Quantity cannot replace quality.
It's junk food, junk food does not win you any culinary awards. Except it has aristic merits, like say Star Wars (first film alone won 7 of 11 Osacar noms), LotR or even DC(EU).
MCU, zero, after 20 movies - incredible. Now they literally rig the Oscars to get some. Laughable achivement!
Hell, even the "Cinematic" in MCU is already a misnomer as it includes comics and shows too. What a cinematic achivement.

After that, it was Muppet happy meals and some of the worst drek ever to grace a movie screen. No Star Wars fan has any business trying to criticize the MCU. It's almost as laughably absurd as when a DCEU fan tries it!

to insult fans of films I don't like and can't handle other people liking, because I have nothing better to do. QED Fixed that for you. well, that dumbed down quickly. You get butthurt and whiny by dissenting opinions too easily. But that is one of the purposes of discussion forums.
These films do not compensate for your personal inadequacies; they are not you, conversely, criticism of them is not an insult towards you.
If you cannot take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. You may go home and rethink your life.

I feel like comparing a single movie to the entire MCU franchise is a flawed comparison. Are we comparing that movie to the worst movie of the MCU? To the best movie of the MCU? Are we comparing the difficulty of making that movie as compared to making the entire MCU? Are we comparing the success of that movie compared to the entire MCU? Box Office? ok fair argument... Lets go with: 1) Overall popularity, 2) impact on overall culture and pop culture specifically, and has it 3) withstood the test of time. I honestly believe that movies I mentioned, single movie and franchise, have done all of the above.
But you can also choose to agree or dispute single entries. Scabab above chose to specify about the Bond franchise alone.
1. Overall popularity - if you're talking about this current day and age then nothing is bigger than the MCU. If you're talking about for all time then that get's tackled in #2. 2. Impact on overall culture - Star Wars and LOTR beat the MCU here, as both are about as staple in our society as Coke and McDonald's. That said, it should be noted that the MCU is a very young franchise compared to these two. Give the MCU 2-4 more decades to age and it might end up being the most impactful movie franchise ever in pop culture. But... we won't know till that time. 3. Withstood the test of time - n/a. We can't really judge this until much time has passed for the MCU. I will say this though: One thing that really makes the MCU shine is their ability to make a butt-load of movies without a single one being truly bad, something that the other franchises can't boast about. The TDK trilogy comes to mind but being only 3 movies long it doesn't seem as big an accomplishment.

It only makes sense to compare the MCU to other franchises, not singular films. And even then, you're comparing a franchise that's only ten years old to franchises that have spanned decades. We can't know yet how this franchise will be viewed in 20 years. That being said, I believe the MCU is the current generation's Star Wars in terms of cultural resonance, but time will tell if it has the staying power SW has had. Bond became a spoof of itself requiring a reboot, I hope the MCU doesn't go down that road.
It's also worth noting that the MCU has branched out into television extensively on multiple platforms such as network, cable tv and Netflix. Not everything has been perfect, but the sheer volume of quality material produced by this franchise alone is unmatched, and that can't be argued.

Then again, you baited me with the one before. And yeah, while petty, I understand that you hold an angsty grudge against Star Wars muppets since the day that ACKBAR guy brutally handed you your behind with a dance of in public. Only fair. These SW films are not for you, stay with the beefcakes-in-tights genre. Remember: The raccoon turd always floats at the shallow end of the pool. Always a pleasure.

Every movie who's focus more on script, story, characters, dialogues than CGI-overload and mindless destruction is better than the MCU.

No franchise has had the success of the MCU except maybe Star Wars. Popularity doesn’t necessarily mean successful other than a financial standpoint. No one will remember this franchise down the road.

Seriously, why are these guys so angry? I think the Transformers movies suck. You know where I don't go? The Transformers board. I don't even know if there's a Transformers board.
I have no problem with people who don't like Marvel movies, to each their own. It's this goofy insistence that they're going to be forgotten that I find ridiculous.

You mean you went to all that bother just to elicit a reply from little ol' me? If I knew it meant so much to you, I would have tried a little harder to be "pissed off" ... but since you're just regurgitating your same ol' shtick, it's hard to get all that worked up over it. Sorry. Some new anger-inducing material may be in order ... but you've tipped your hand and revealed that you're just vying for the attention of MCU fans ... so I'm even more inclined to pass over your little disingenuous rants than before. Sorry, again. Cherish this moment, cupcake. It may be a while before I acknowledge your presence again.

But that's a thing only real and true moviefans could know. And the MCU have quality movies. Which is what they'd need to be to have such a combination of high BO returns and high praise from both critics and audiences alike.

MCU is quantity not quality. And high bo numbers and critics aren't equal to quality.
