If the rumors are true, Feige had a meeting with 10 female directors. Feige has no intention of hiring those female directors. Feige only wants to put on a show for the SJWs to say that he met with many female directors.
It's similar to a few decades ago when there were complaints that the NFL had black assistant coaches but hardly any black head coaches. So the NFL put in a rule that whenever teams hired a new head coach, they had to interview at least 1 minority candidate. Sure, tams brought in minority candidates for head coaching interviews, but that was just for show because everyone knew that the teams already had someone in mind tha tthey wanted to hire and that someone wasn't a minority.

usually delivers the knockout blow. Examples: 1. DC was the first one to venture into the superhero shared universe concept when they created the Supergirl movie, but they never really were able to do anything about it. Years later the MCU came out and smashed all kinds of records with their interconnected cinematic universe model. 2. DC was the first one to make a hero vs. hero showdown movie in BvS... then the MCU came out with CW and knocked it out of the water. 3. DC was the first one to make a movie about a metal-armored superhero with Steel.... which is now completely forgotten and has nothing against Ironman. 4. DC was the first one to make a major superhero movie casting a black lead (Steel)... yet audiences recognize Black Panther (and before that Blade) for having that title. 5. DC was the first one to make a movie with an intergalactic police force dressed in green and black (Green Lantern)... how much are you willing to bet that Captain Marvel will eclipse it? it's too bad for MCU that history won't remember or give a shit about MCU because MCU didn't come first. History always remember the firsts. Everyone remembers George Washington, the first POTUS. Everyone remembers the Wright Brothers, the first to fly a plane. And everyone remembers Neil Armstrong, the first to walk on the moon. If you're not first, then history won't remember you or give a shit about you.

Unless you had a conversation with Feige and he shared that information with you, then you’re only pulling that shit out of your ass. It’s hilarious how you keep making up negative shit about Feige only because he runs a movie franchise you don’t like. Grow the fuck up kiddo.

Marvel had a female director before DC Marvel had a female director for a small-budget movie. It's like saying a baseball player is great because he hit .400 in the minor leagues or a football player is great because he's the best QB in college football. It's still minor leagues and it's still college football, which isn't as prestigious as the major leagues or the NFL. Only 6 women have been sole directors of a movie with a $100+ million budget, and only 1 of those 6, Patty Jenkins) was the sole director of a CBM. WB is the 1st and still ONLY CBM studio that was willing to take a huge risk and let a female director have sole directorial control over a 100+ million CBM. And again, WB only made that move after about 39 years of making superhero movies. The MCU is only 10 years old.

Really? Who was the first person to win the 100m gold at the Olympics? Who has won it the most? Who won the first women's Wimbledon final? Who has won it the most? Which actress won the first Female Oscar? Who has won it the most? Bet you have to look up the former. Bet you can hazard a decent guess at least for the latter

Okay I have a question for you, and giving our past interactions you either ignore me or give a half-assed answer, what if he does hire those women to direct future movies? Would you blame it on the "SJW'S", would you take it back or hell even applaud him? Cause you're a mix bag. On one hand you talk about wanting more female lead Superhero movies and criticize marvel for not doing anything with women, but as soon as they start doing that you completely take a 180 and start screaming about sjws or whatever stupid buzzwords that get thrown around. Help me out here, my dude.

Without Spiderman and X-Men's contribution to Marvel, Marvel is inferior to DC. must be the reason mcu fans tried to force them to the mcu. Let's look at actual fact. with no spiderman or xmen meaning things like Logan, Spiderman 2, Spidermam/X-Men TAS, Spiderman2/DOFP/X2 , marvel's classic literature from spiderman, x-men, fantastic 4, X-Men Legends, Marvel vs Capcom .....All don't count. 1. Marvel MCU has no movie that can go to to toe with the best of DC movies aka the TDK trilogy. 2. DC has superior animation to marvel , it has been that way since the disney take over, the birth of the dc animated universe and more DC cartoon shows. 3. DC has a better tv universe because they don't lie and pretend it is part of the movies , meaning the universe can grow on its own and strengthen the mythology of DC. unlike marvel that is now all about MCU this and MCU that ..no freedom or thinking. 4. DC has superior games. spiderman ps4 is finding some success now because it was inspired by the Batman Arkham games and not homecoming and it is not made by Marvel but SONY. honourable mention goes to Injustice DC vs Mortal Kombat. 5. DC also still has better comics, marvel comics went down the drain once disney started making it fit more like their movies So yeah...DC is stronger and better than marvel. once upon a time it was opinionated but after disney came along and disneyfied marvel and made everything about team up, set up, cinematic universes with zero creativity. Marvel is inferior to DC. DC will continue to grow and expand and get better and continuing to push boundaries. marvel is now basically peter pan. that is why all their movies are childish comedy garbage and they have some of the worst cartoons that is even too childish for kids...and no one can tell the difference between marvel movies and hannah montana. for mcu fans bragging about movies at least most people respect the best of the DC movies and take them seriously. So MCU fans cannot include Marvel movies but DCEU fans can include all DC films? Makes sense.

Seems it's a good time to resurrect this thread. DC was the first one to release a successful female-led superhero movie with Wonder Woman... but it seems Captain Marvel will now surpass it, at least in terms of box office earnings.

I remember watching it back when it first hit tv. It was HORRIBLE. I saw Superman in the theater & loved it. Supergirl was a huge letdown. Wasn't the War Machine vs IM a far better fight? The battle between Cap/Thor/IM in Avengers as well? Not to mention Hulk vs Thor? MCU did it in spirit, not the title of the movie

Spawn from Image Comics was pretty huge back then, not so much now, but his movie still counts as major. It came before Steel.

We know that for a certainty because Superman III was released in 1983, Supergirl was released in 1984, and then Superman IV: The Quest for Peace was released in 1987. If Supergirl was part of the Superman franchise, then The Quest for Peace should've been titled Superman V. But The Quest for Peace was titled Superman IV so Supergirl wasn't a part of the Superman franchise. And since Supergirl shared a character (played by the same actor) as Superman: The Movie, that makes it officially the 1st shared cinematic universe in CBM history.

Movies with spinoffs (like Supergirl) exist in the same universe, thus it’s part of the franchise. Look at Minions from the Despicable Me franchise. That was released in 2015 and Despicable Me 3 came out in 2017. Despicable Me 2 came out in 2013. So it is possible for them to be part of the same series.

Yeah...they shared Jimmy Olsen...the fucking Jimmy Olsen Universe. Colonel Klink appeared briefly in Batman. Is there a Batman/Hogan's Heroes shared universe?
