Passenger 57. Had something of a soft spot for this one when it came out. Granted I was 12 when I saw it in theaters but it violence, ridiculous Wesley Snipes one-liners and cursing and that was really all it needed. Hadn't seen it probably since seeing it for the first time way back when, caught it on HBO last week. Holy shit this movie is terrible. A stupid story, a really stupid title, an awful script, a one-dimensional and boring villain, a smoking hot Elizabeth Hurley (ok, one in the plus column) and the action is preposterous even for an 80s/90s action movie. Possibly one of the dumbest lines in movie history "Always bet on black." Made absolutely no sense. They weren't in a casino. No one mentioned gambling. Was it because he was black? Yet no mention of his race was brought up. I remember laughing at how bad that line was when he said in the movie.

Spielberg's 1941 is the first one that comes to mind. When it came out I loved it and thought it was the funniest thing since sliced bread. Fast-forward a couple of decades and what do you know - its poor reputation was fully warranted after all!

The Dark Crystal is unwatchable as an adult. That's a good call. I absolutely LOVED this movie as a kid and re-watched it a few years ago and it was absolutely tedious and tepid. I still get a kick out of it visually, but even at the time when I saw it at the theater I kept thinking they'd come up with all this great puppetry and effects, and then sort of realized they'd forgotten to write a story around them. The script itself just felt kind of offhand, as if the story was an afterthought and written hurriedly.
