Passenger 57. Had something of a soft spot for this one when it came out. Granted I was 12 when I saw it in theaters but it violence, ridiculous Wesley Snipes one-liners and cursing and that was really all it needed.
Hadn't seen it probably since seeing it for the first time way back when, caught it on HBO last week. Holy shit this movie is terrible. A stupid story, a really stupid title, an awful script, a one-dimensional and boring villain, a smoking hot Elizabeth Hurley (ok, one in the plus column) and the action is preposterous even for an 80s/90s action movie.

Spielberg's 1941 is the first one that comes to mind. When it came out I loved it and thought it was the funniest thing since sliced bread. Fast-forward a couple of decades and what do you know - its poor reputation was fully warranted after all!
Clint's Firefox is another one. I remember loving the action, the aerial fight scenes and the tension as a teenager, but as an adult it left a LOT to be desired.

Agree on Passenger 57. Ended up being kind of lame but my eternal undying love for Elizabeth Hurley started around then. I’d like to nominate Lethal Weapon 2. When I first saw it I thought it was one of the greatest movies ever. Having seen it again recently, I was like “This actually kinda sucks.” Has not aged well at all.

Another favorite from my childhood but haven't seen it in years. It's funny, almost all of those movies, where one or more of our heroes go around basically murdering suspects and their henchmen in the name of justice (or even vengeance, in the case of Lethal Weapon 2) without even remotely honoring concepts such as due process haven't aged well *. Plus, they're cheesy. You can't get shot and continue to beat the shit out of someone, I don't care who you are. * The first Die Hard, however, is still awesome. RIP Alan Rickman.

That's the first one I saw in the series. I still feel like it's decent, because as dumb as it is, it is also the first one that's self aware and goofy on purpose. There are some pretty brutal attempts at jokes, and some rough dialogue though.

The first title that strikes me is Judge Dredd.
I hada great time seeing it when it came out because I was on vacation and my dad took my brother and me to this over the top, R rated Stallone movie when I was way too young.
It's still a good memory, but it's also a shitty movie that features Rob Schneider as the comedy sidekick.
