"Everybody knows their birthday but nobody knows their death day" People actually still do that, 'witnessing', in this day and age? And the people on the train were a captive audience? That's just wrong.

a post-mortem on that religion of yours
a giant gargling sound sort of resembling hash browns going down an already overstuffed drain pipe preceded the actual demise of what was once a hypocritical compromise between one too many bold-faced lies skirting the boundaries of plagiarisms waltzing around in those outdated pilgrim ties while pointing fingers at the witches when in reality you were already three steps away from forming your own amalgamation of ordained snitches that up until now you've been passing off as god's own rented out bitch's but let us not mince words here for it's times like these where everyone can share the riches after the pipes are cleared.
sjw 09/20/18 inspired at this very moment in time by you will know the truth and the truth will indeed set you free.

That's just wrong. i think most people did what I did. Push the earphones in, turn the sound up and let her get it out of her system.

That's just wrong. New York City subway on Manhattan's West Side is the worst. You can be trapped in there for 20 minutes with an evangelist. (Longer if there is a service interruption.)

This makes me think that evangelizing in public might be fun.
Like the time I picketed outside the store 'Winners' with a sign that said 'Losers are people too'.

If you were forced to sit through this, does it count against having to go to church on Sunday?

What's surprising, given today's quick-to-violence climate, is the latitude these people are still given; they would seem to be protected by that 'holy fool' aura that makes people leave them alone even in a captive situation, and no matter how annoying they might find them.

(I'm a country girl, and get an anxiety attack in crowds of people.) Just wondering - does anyone ever talk back? As in debate the way we do here?

Sometimes a few people will say things in agreement. Hearing a heckler or someone disagreeing is extremely rare.

Funny that I've never seen anyone doing something like this on an airplane.

And I thought New Yorkers were fairly confrontational and vocal if things didn't please them. Maybe I watch too many episodes of 'Law & Order'. My late husband grew up in Newark, and he pretty much expressed himself openly, so to speak.

She's on the fucking train again. I feel your pain. I suppose getting a different job on a different train route is out of the question? Too bad people no longer carry around big radio/CD/tape players anymore. If you did, you could drown her out with "Smoke on the Water" (Deep Purple). I'm sure the other train passengers wouldn't mind.

I shouted at both of them but kept it brief as my fellow passengers were suffering enough.

My deepest condolences... see my new thread, I have found a great website for pagan, atheist, agnostic bumper stickers - not sure yet if they have t-shirts...
