Of your choices I went with Amityville, Alien and Phantasm. My fourth choice would have been Dracula. I might rate some higher but I'd have to see them again. It's been decades for some of them. I watched the Brood again recently and thought it was awful. There are a couple Cronenberg movies I love, but I think he tends to be crap more often than not. I also hate Videodrome and Scanners by the way.

The rest I can live without, though TV production salem's lot manages some creepy chills - from my favorite King Stephen book, along with 'the shining'.
other - thirst
modern day vampire film from Australia, re. a sinister blood draining health clinic in the country. Not bad at all.
