Some songs just feel us with different feelings. They make us concentrate on the lyrics and feel about life....Please post the ones that give such feelings to you.

Electric Light Orchestra - Mission (A World Record) There's a building on a corner, in a city, in a land On a place they call the planet Earth My orders are to sit here and watch the world go by
Electric Light Orchestra - Big Wheels I remember the dead of night A lonely light that shines upon the window I see it all so clear The tenderness, the silent tears Out here in the pouring rain Through cold dark waiting days I see you standing there I see the big wheels turning Never ending, on and on they go.

Not much any longer. Emotions seem stupid the older you get.

I love to hear my late beautiful precious Steve Sanders sing this song so much!
God bless you and those who have loved him longer than may always!!!
Holly
P.S. "Father knew what was best for you and me." is my favorite line to hear him deliver as well as "There's medals on the wall I got back in 69."

There are thousands of songs that make me feel emotional. Every song I like makes me feel emotional.
But the song that probably makes me cry the hardest is The Seekers "I'll Never Find Another You".

I just had to get my dog who I had for 11 years put to sleep. I made an 11 song Neil Young playlist of his favorite Neil songs. And yes, he really did like his acoustic songs, his voice, guitar and harmonica. Especially "Thrasher". Since I got the procedure done at home, we were able to listen to Neil Young when he went. I think "Helpless" live from Massey Hall '71 was on when he passed away. That version was already kind of hard to listen to.
