...that has nothing to do with Star Wars? Like a THX 1138 sequel? Keep in mind with the Star Wars element out, the film would almost certainly be a passion project rather than trying to sell toys.

I might watch a new movie directed by Lucas. Maybe. Depending on what it was about. But I honestly believe that he hit his high point with Star Wars (1977). The PT SW movies felt like he was rusty at directing IMO, so there's no reason to think he'd be any better now. |

Instead of the tag line "where were you in '62" it could be "do you know where you are?" LOL

Of course. He said back in 2015 that he wanted to make experimental films after stepping down from Lucasfilm, but will we ever see them is the question.

I think it should honorarily count as a Lucas film, even if he didn’t officially direct it: it particularly reminded me of The Phantom Menace, and it’s his as much as The Thing is Hawks’s and Poltergeist is Spielberg’s (or The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi are, um, well, George Lucas’s). |
