Tough Question!
Guess I'll go with the Big Sleep.
But Maltese Falcon is close as well as All Through the Night and Across the Pacific.
Just one of the best 1930's to early 1950's actors out there.

Fred C Dobbs: Well, first off, I'm goin' to a Turkish bath and I'm gonna sweat and soak till I get all the grime and dirt out of my system. Then I'm goin' to a haberdasher's and I'm gonna get myself a brand new set of duds...a dozen of everything. Then, I'm goin' to a swell cafe - order everything on the bill of fare, and if it ain't just right, or maybe even if it is, I'm gonna bawl the waiter out and make him take the whole thing back...

You know how some people arrange movies on shelves alphabetically so that they can locate them quickly but there are some that get put in special areas by genre or actor ? Bogart has an entire shelf of his own. Favorite ? Impossible ! Pick top 5 ? nah 10 ?

Can anyone recommend the Enforcer? That's one of a very small handful of his films I haven't seen.

I saw that one not too long ago however I forgot why or how he got killed at the end which I thought sucked. I know he got shot to death but was it suicide by cop or was it overkill where they didn't have to shoot him that much?
