It wasn't offensively bad like Guardians of the Galaxy, and Infinity War, or Man of Steel. It was surprisingly idiocy free for the most part. It does relentlessly pound you with a cacophony of CG effects as expected, but surprisingly had some heart and a musical theme with a melody. Mamoa can not act and has no charisma, but Amber Heard looks good. Dolph Lundgren is in this, too! It's worth one watch, I didn't turn it off before the end.

Its getting good reviews. Im not super excited about it but I still want to see it. I seem to be one of the few people who loved Justice League so I guess my chances are fine.

Turn it off? Are you a cinema projectionist? That would probably upset the movie goers.

I think most fans of superhero movies will be more than satisfied. I didn't like the trailer and never had much interest in the character, but it's entertaining and the director clearly made some effort and even mixed in a touch of Horror at one point.

Wan apparently first approached WB with the idea of making Aquaman a horror monster movie. Hence all the sea creatures and the Trench.

Maybe the most important aspect of the film.

Yeah, that sequence is one of the best parts. I theorize since Richard Donner directed The Omen and "Superman," good horror directors must have a better "knack" for superhero movies.

I actually forgot he was even in Justice League! Yeah, Heard brought the hotness and she had cool abilities.

well fair enough, as far as silly action-adventure movies go I liked it well enough: 7.5/10
Btw, this is a movie that begs to be watched in IMAX due to the great cinematography and colors.

I only need to enjoy it once Have you ever had that experience where you see a Movie just once and you enjoy it but then as time passes and you look back on it, you suddenly realize that that Movie was actually Terrible ?
