Or maybe not inconsistencies but definitely things that need a bit more explaining:
1. In Aquaman it seems Arthur has never been to Atlantis, yet in JL he goes to Atlantis to fight Steppenwolf away from the Motherbox. Speaking of which...
2. Why is Atlantis in that motherbox scene look more like ruins whereas in the Aquaman film it's shown as pretty high-tech. Unless the Atlanteans simply stuck the motherbox in a throwaway location with barely any guards...
3. That armor that Aquaman wore in JL, where did he get it? We know he got his trident from his mom but I doubt he was able to scrounge such good Atlantean armor from a random blacksmith. Also, why not wear it again when he first went to Atlantis?
4. In JL he showed some form of power by being able to block water via forcefield or something (in the fight against Steppenwolf). Nowhere is this power seen in Aquaman nor is it explained.

As for 1. and 2:
Atlantis in this universe is a civilization. It's an ancient culture, a land/kingdom and a capital (like ancient Rome): the 7 kingdoms of Atlantis that broke apart after catastrophe are referenced and shown in the film (sans the hidden one).
I am not sure if in JL it was explicitly said Aqua would go to Atlantis town or land. What we saw there was a an old temple, not the metropolis. It's unclear if this was located in the outskirts of the metropolis or just in the backwaters of the kingdom Atlantis.
There were some guards, but not too many; if nothing happened for millennia why should it now. Movie logic...

Maybe this was on a safe, hidden location but Step found it. Maybe Steppenwolf killed hundreds of guards and had to override security systems a la Raiders before entering. These CBM films are not too realistic and logical. It's movie magic! Example Cap America:
- How did only Cap become a BEEFCAKE without character development, work out and only with a magic potion? - How did the ice not kill him, but did prevent him from aging, was it magic ice? - How did Cap get to the Arctic that quickly with that slow freighter plane - magic aircraft? Small world magic? - How can his magic shield be made from a metal not existing on the periodic table of elements, magic chemistry? - How can they be fighting with magic laser weapons during WWII, plot stupidity? - How was WinterSoldier so magically similar to Star Wars, did Hydra watch the Saga before infiltrating and order 66 Shield and before bringing BuckyVader to the dark side, did Cap watch SW (on his list!) before redeeming Bucky…? - Don't even get me started on "I don't care, he killed my mommy", no magic in that!
Plot conveniences….just ask Thor those films are even worse… Point: Steppenwolf gets the McGuffin and we get a shared-universe exposition between Mera-Aqua paying off in Aquaman. It's a soldid and beautifully shot scene. The Amazone action scene was better.

You did not follow the point made: The point was about movie magic and plot convenience answering the concrete question. My suggestion was speculation, I don't know from where Stepp came crawling up, or if he killed guards before that, or if he masturbated, it's completely irrelevant for the plot. But pray tell: What did Steppenwolf's arrival in the motherbox inner temple "conflict" with as set out in plot and dialogue: Please provide dialogue and concrete exposition from the film JL for your claim. - The script copy I have does not even mention Atlantis in the dialogue in this regard. - And even if it did, what Atlantis? As stated, "Atlantis" is an ambiguous term for a civilization, kingdoms, city and land. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantis_(DC_Comics)- The temple could be everywhere, even in the midst of Atlantis city as bright light streams in from the windows, which would indicate an illuminated underwater city outside. One needs a plot of fantasy and projection to construe a genuine contradiction here. As for Cap explain to me e.g., why Cap did not age and die in the magic ice: Please provide dialogue and context from the Cap 1 movie. I must have missed that...

The Pentadent is the only glaring one for me. In JL he says something like, “I need something from you” to mera, then he comes back with his mother’s Pentadent. Yet in Aquaman, it is implied it was in Arthur/ Dad Curry’s possession the whole time. If it was in Atlantis, why was Orm surprised to see it during the gladiator part? And why did it allow him to use Mera’s powers when it didn’t in Aquaman? And furthermore, Steppenwolf was crazy strong, throwing Atlanteans around like they were nothing, and Aquaman blocked his super axe many times full force with the Pentadent. Yet Orm broke it in just a couple hits? What?
It’s clearly a case of 2 different directors with wildly different ideas of what to do with it and producers who let them. They should have just made a different trident for Aquaman, would have worked way better.

All of your Captain America "examples" has nothing to do with why they didn't put the Mother Box under the castle so there can be hundreds of the kings guards protecting it. All of your "examples" were explained in the movie.
Also, how was Winter Soldier similar to Star Wars? You saying Revenge of the Sith is the only movie that has a massacre of people in it (something they prevented in Winter Soldier, basically a sky beam)? You saying that Star Wars is the only movie that has a masked man from a persons past in it? Are you saying that the Winter Soldier wasn't like that in the comics? Was Vader brainwashed and not seduced? You trying to make me look stupid is only backfiring.
It's not a plot convenience when they actually fit with the plot (and comes from a source story) and not something that's just put there.
So him just getting the MacGuffin is all that's needed? Not how it happens? And about them being beautifully shot scenes...

True I tried to explain plot conveniences to you. Some things are silly and unrealistic and only so to further the plot. Why there were not hundreds of guards like with the Amazonians we do not know (maybe: labor disputes, guarding budget limitations, tax disputes, strikes, bank holidays etc). But it's as irrelevant as why the magic-ice managed to carbonite freeze/age-arrest Cap despite freezing processes will destroy cells (ice crystals) and making you look like a very dead mummy. Lol backfiring? Hardly. It's requires abstract thinking of plot beats like in copyright disputes; no one is trying to make you look stupid: So: Name me one movie where as a rudimentary plot synopsis: - an evil Sith/Hydra organization first secretly infiltrates a good Jedi/Shield order. - Then in a sudden backstabbing cinematic attack-sequence brutally takes over. - Mace Windu/Nick Fury is killed (in Star wars most people die, in MCU basically everybody survives). - Good leader Palpatine/Redford is revealed as puppet master. - Good guys go underground for fact finding and to strike back - the muscle/leader of attackers, BuckyVader, is unmasked and revealed as old friend gone dark side, - they fight to redeem him, BuckyVader turns good in the end …the Star Wars Saga plot beats (not just Sith) in a nutshell. A little bit much, no? Or provide me with the underlying comic where it all transpired so, written before the films. Nobody could so far, can you? Btw, the Bros ripped off The Phantom Menace Gungan fight too: tribal people fight on grass land under a big energy shield and spears, they hold handheld energy shield and ride big CGI-creatures and Star wars speeder (hovering). The town looks like a Coruscant clone. All just coincidence? Sure.

-No Sith infiltrated the Jedi. -No Sith took over the Jedi. -Russell Franklin also died. Nick Fury didn't die. -You saying there are no movies with a puppet master?

If you want to see a movie that has the Star Wars saga plot beats, go watch The Transformers: The Movie.

So you have no source material with those plot beats preceding Star Wars? Bummer! Your surrender is accepted. Calm down, TWS is the best MCU film, courtesy by George Lucas. they stole from the best and it stays in the Disney family. don't care, maybe both. I am positive it was in Infinity War as i saw that one twice and though wow TPM rip-off² So you concede the point. Thanks for your honesty. Frack yes, you have a point with that. I had all the sci-fi hover ships flying around in mind, like in SW. On pic it looks more like Naboo mixed in with Coruscant. My phrasing was sloppy, you win this point.

-The point is that other movies have a puppet master. And I already said how your 1st 3 points didn't happen.

I'm always calm. Right now I'm currently laughing at you. It's one of those belly laughs that comes from deep down.
Nope. What I said was that the stuff that was in Infinity War was already in Black Panther.
When you have a chance, look up pictures of Naboo. Looks nothing like Wakanda. Even that forested area Qui Gon and Obi Wan was running through looks nothing like the area they fought Thanos in. Hell, even the battle itself had the battle droids just walk through the shields.

Your surrender was accepted. There is no deflection or spinning it. Man up and accept facts. You must learn abstract thinking and plot beat comparison. That is important. I just remember you were one of the guys claiming ForceAwakens was not a plot-beat rehash of A New Hope (and parts of Empire/EU)….? LOL, why did I even try! Btw. I have posted I nice Naboo/Theed pic for you. Looks more like Wakanda, but they look different enough, the similarity are the hovering spaceships that are such a SciFi trope. The world building and art design in MCU was always derivative (Valhalla as a organ ). At least here they got inspired by the best designers.

Yeah, seeing that DC's Aquaman movie ripped a lot off too. Not so much from the story. But the underwater worlds were clearly inspired by Thron-Legacy and Star Wars, mostly Gung City, Kamino and such. But they made it their own.

Yikes. That CGI looks so fucking bad and weightless. Like in a jerky kid cartoon. Seriously, basically the same battle scene in Menace from 20 frigging years ago looks more natural than a 2018 blockbuster? Hollywood really gotta cut down that Computer imagery overload! It will age badly.

-But the clones didn't infiltrate the Jedi. There would be a clone army without the Jedi. If anything the Jedi took over the clone army and placed themselves in authoritative positions. -But the Sith didn't take over the Jedi. They killed them all. That's not taking over, that's eliminating them. -But Nick Fury didn't die. It was a fake out. You think a couple spies can't fake a flat line? Just pull the sensor off. When Mace Windu shows up in a Star Wars movie having faked his death then we can talk. But of course it didn't happen before Winter Soldier.
-The point is that other movies have a puppet master. And I already said how your 1st 3 points didn't happen.
-Wait... Are you talking about when they hooked up with Sam Wilson then went to Fury's secret base? Are you high? What the hell? -I'm the one who's desperate? You are saying stuff that didn't happen in the movies and equating things that are nothing a like. Your attempt at trying to sound like me when I give examples of DoFP being like T2 is really bad.
Surrender? What are 12?

And I tried finding a good shot of that battlefield in Phantom Menace. That CG did not age well.

Dude, got eyes? It looks fucking terrible. Like fake shit! Haha, the Phantome Menace battle was a lot practical: the meadow, the crafts, the explosions, gadgets even some robots was filmed caus ethey could not do with CGI. That did not age well? Maybe, probaly cause it 20 years old. But surely better that the crap gif there. That looks like all of it was fake. They must cut the crap.

There's another inconsistency revolving around Atlanna. In Justice League, Aquaman seems to resent his mother for leaving him when he converses with Mera in the air pocket after Steppenwolf steals the Motherbox. In Aquaman, he seems to feel guilty when he learns that his mother was "executed" for having him. So, in his solo film, Aquaman learned by the time he was a teenager why Atlanna left him while it's implied in Justice League, he doesn't know.
