Good bye Rams! ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/i1aw3i9i1/cloak.gif) Seahawks/Broncos was far worse/embarrassing IMHO. This one was just a defense battle with shit offense. We are spoiled rotten I think. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) You really think this game was better than " SUPERBOWL 48" between Seattle and Denver ? I don't know about that! Been many more "worse" than this.

And the Bills last three (there, I said it, pained as it makes me)

Not ready for the big lights.

Patriots too good for the Rams. Congratulations to New England. Pats too good or like Namath said in the show prior to the SB, "the team that beat itself will lose".
Seems he was right, maybe not knowing how much it would be true concerning the Rams offense.

Brady Superbowl MVP the year he was unfairly suspended.
Edleman Superbowl MVP the year he was unfairly suspended.
The ball don't lie, and the football gods are just.

Yup, how many time you see QBs look at playbooks and plays on tablets when things don't go well.
How many times have we seen Goff try to read some info in this game? Did they gave up that early?

Unless you're a Seahawks fans this was a much more entertaining game. I wouldn't say entertaining. Yeah, it was still close in the 4th quarter, but it was a bland and boring game all around defined by poor performances rather than any good ones.

If the Rams don't score again this will be the largest margin of victory for the Pats in a Super Bowl. And yet the lowest over all scoring ever if I'm right.

In defense of the Rams, this is a VERY young team. Look, last year was the first time they had been in the playoffs since 2004 and this year was the first time they won playoff games since that time. The Rams, like the Dolphins in Super Bowl 6, came very far, very fast and they got shut down by the experienced team, much the same way the Dolphins got shut down by the Cowboys in 1972.
Last year, the Eagles went head to head with the Patriots and Foles matched them blow for blow. Goff played it way too conservatively, or at times too liberal. He held onto the ball too long, too many times. Taking horrible sacks, or trying to run out of bounds and taking unnecessary punishment.

PED user Edelman gets MVP. At least they didn't give it to Brady. Usually if there's no standout performance they usually default to the QB.

Am I the only one who just feel like "wtf was that"?
I mean, I'm not excited, I'm not mad, I'm not sad I just feel like I nearly wasted 60 minutes watching something that had a result nearly written in the sky for 2 weeks now. I didn't feel the game was enjoyable to watch.
Back in SB XLVII, when the Ravens won over the 49ers, I enjoyed the game up until the power outage. Of course Baltimore was trashing San Francisco but somehow I found it nice to see a team execute well on all side of the ball, including the special teams with that 2nd half kickoff return for a TD.
But this game? There is just no highlight, it felt like a war of attrition between two opponents with already one foot in the grave.

My thanks to Xeliou66 for being such a gracious host, and everybody who's contributed to these imdb2 football threads and made the season that much more enjoyable for doing so.
Hope to see you all around for the 2019 draft picks!

Now we can start a new flame war en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Super_Bowl_championsIf you scroll down, the New England Patriots have surpassed the Pittsburgh Steelers on the Super Bowl win/loss standings. Patriots are now 6-5 in first place and the Steelers are 6-2. Cowboys trail at 5-3.

This presentation is insufferable. Give me the AFL any day. Each player gets a medal and then the captain and coach lift the cup. It's not fucking hard.
