The Pats, Belichick and Brady win their 6th Super Bowl. This was an interesting game, as the Pats defense were the real stars, especially their secondary, they completely shut down the explosive Rams offense and made some huge plays. Brady was solid and led the Pats on the one great TD drive and the rushing game made some good plays when needed but the Pats defense were the stars of this game. The Rams barely did anything on offense, Goff didn’t play well, I think Gurley is still somewhat banged up as he wasn’t effective at all and was shut down and the Pats defense swarmed them the entire game.
This was a competitive but very low scoring game with the Pats winning because of their dominant defensive performance with Brady and the offense making some good plays, they could’ve won by more IMO.

not really any standout performances here just two shitty performances. Good defense. Particularly the Pats.

This presentation is insufferable. Give me the AFL any day. Each player gets a medal and then the captain and coach lift the cup. It's not fucking hard. That really buggers me too: it should either be the coach, or the captain of the team.

Emmitt Smith on his way to present the Patriots with the Lombardi trophy. R.I.P. DC-Fan. He is not dead, he just flinched himself over a toilet bowl...the rest is left for your imagination.

I can hardly wait for the off season threads when people ask "Can the Patriots make it back?" ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/480s321zt/eyes.gif) Barring age and health issues, I don't see why Brady or Belichick should retire at this point. Brady can win the Super Bowl even when he is having an offish night.

I'm 42 years old, just a year older than Tom Brady. I can tell you sometimes it's hard at this age just getting out of bed in the morning. Everything cracks and creaks. Brady deserves maximum respect for what he's achieved. And I wouldn't put it past him to win another and tie Otto Graham as the QB with the most championships, he's already pulled ahead of Bart Starr. I don't think there's any QB with more championships than these 3 legends.

That was a football game. Hope 20yrs from now, future fans don't write the scoreline off as a bad game. If that was the final title in the Belichick-Brady era, I guess it's fitting to start & finish the dynasty with game clinching field goals against the Rams. Pretty much every unit on both teams played great tonight, except Rams QB Jared Goff. 3-0 at half, it felt like 30-20. Gostkowski lols, what a guy... I still can't watch his clutch kicks. This one felt really earned without any fluky stuff on either side. Edelman just kept getting open, & Michel was f'n awesome to keep series going. New Orleans Saints fans must be enjoying tonight lols. As it is, the 2018 Patriots defeated the gamechanging 2018 Chiefs twice & 2018 Rams in the SB. That's not nothing, & helps prop their greatness. Belichick was the MVP tonight for me, he didn't allow the Rams to get a foothold on either side of the ball. 13-3 didn't look sexy an hour ago, it sure f'n does now! ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) Gost

wow is Goodell getting booed lol. It's well deserved. His attempt to force parody could have single handedly pushed Brady on to 6 of the last 11 superbowls.

Wait a second, just now finding out about this. Did you all know that Tom Brady kisses his kids on the mouth? How old are they? Like fucking 8 or 9? That's some gross shit right there.

The only MVP should have been Johnny Hekker, their punter. He saw the ball more than anyone else on the Rams team and he delivered.
He finished the night with 9 punts, for 417 yards, averaging 46,7 yards per punt and 5 landind inside the 20. The longest, 65 yards set a record.
How come he wasn't the most productive guy? By Comparison, Goff was 19/38 for 229 yards...

wow is Goodell getting booed lol. I forgot to mention... anyone else feel like the crowd was half dead tonight? Lots of Patriots fans, yet 9 times to the well for many (let alone '86 & '97 if they went) isn't that special anymore. There was some noise against the Rams offense, yet it never felt electric to me.

I disagree. The house was rocking when ther rams were on offense, and the "Brady" chant was definitive before the touchdown drive.

Surely this game has to be decided by a big defensive play.... Time for Aaron Donald to get a strip-sack. ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/tek3suwt5/laugh.gif)

Is anyone else watching post game coverage on the NFL Network. There is a lot of tension between the female host and one of the analysts, they really seem to hate each other, is anyone else watching this?!
