Seems odd that this would be posted on an MCU board but not even posted on the X-Men board when it's clearly about how much you love Hugh Jackman and Wolverine but despise RDJ and Tony Stark. But then he wouldn't be trolling the MCU board, which is what he lives to do...

He posed a genuine question and you couldnt come up with an answer and instead tainted him personally. Same when he asked you how Disney would adapt E for extinction. Or same when I told you about Marvels early screening critics.

The record must be for CBM characters only. Sean Connery first played James Bond in Dr. No in 1962 and last played James Bond in Never Say Never Again in 1983 so Connery had a longer run as 007 than Jackman and Stewart as Xavier and Wolverine. Sylvester Stallone has been playing Rocky for 42 years. That might be the longest.

He's not looking to have a discussion. He's just doing his usual thing. And like usual, you're the only person on this board who has his back, which really doesn't do you any favors.

If only Linda Blair would reprise her role as an old Reagan whose granddaughter is possessed. She would take the title! (Actually, that's a potentially good idea for a movie. Innit?)

hugh jackman and Partick Stewart celebrated a world record of longest running people to appear in a movie series or something like that, though I expect tom cruise to surpass that with his M.I movies.
I started thinking beyond that. both guys have come a long way. Stewart and Jackman, it is almost a universal objective artistic fact that logan was the best way for them to go out. when RDJ retires as iron man, his legacy seems kind of not on par with Jackman run as Wolverine. same goes for chris evans.
What has stopped RDJ for not reaching the height jackman reached with the wolverine character. this is a question for MCU fans.
RDJ Academy Awards Nomination-2 Wins-0 BAFTA Awards Nominations-2 Wins-1 Golden Globe Awards Nominations-5 Wins-3 Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations-4 Wins-1 Jackman Academy Awards Nominations -1 Win-0 BAFTA Nominations-1 Wins-0 Golden Globe Awards Nominations -3 Wins-1 Screen Actors Guild Nominations -2 Wins-0 I believe RDJ will do just fine.

Lol. RDJ has already surpassed Jackman in their respective roles. LOL.... I am waiting for RDJ to have a logan or to supass iron man 1
because you know iron man 2 and iron man 3 are on the same level as X2 or DOFP. not.
mcu fans and their denial. this is about artistic merit.

A question that presumes that RDJ is better than Jackman and something prevented him from being less. Well, I'd say that RDJ's onscreen charisma and superior acting talent "has stopped him for not reaching the height Jackman reached". RDJ is Ironman. Almost anyone could have played Wolverine. good laugh but it is the other way around.
anyone could have played iron man because disney factually restricted his character to make his movies more appealing to children.

jackman is now one step away from an E..GO.T. people who have won oscars, grammys, tonys, and emmy.
also this is not about their overall acting careers, its about them playing iron man and wolverine. iron man suffered under disney and is a what might have being.

RDJ as Ironman is way more celebrated than Jackman as Wolverine.

Bud47 had to derail the topic didnt he LOL he is always derailing the tread. he never addresses the topic.
if I was to ask him why couldn't mcu just have adapted the mandarian story line, he will just try and attack me personally. like mcu movies he has no substance.
this was the real story in iron man 3. the demon in the bottle story disney rejected it.
this is why RDJ pales to jackman. Wolverine actually experienced DOFP, Old man logan, weapon x and the death of wolverine in his movies like the comics. nothing had to be dumbed down like iron man.
