It'll be gone by the time Infinity War releases. The crybabies had their moment, and everyone is moving on.

You see I have no problem with strong female leads. Wonder woman was breath takingly amazing. Gal Gadot is an incredibly classy woman an a great actress. Daisy Ridley from the new star wars is doing a fantastic job with some pretty big shoes to fill being the replacement for Luke Skywalker and is doing so with ease. There are actually a ton of movies which have strong female leads cast you can choose from with great plots, scripts, and lead actresses. Enters the scene Brie Larson who isn't shy about her political and social views decries american males of European descent and protrays a character with absolutely no depth at all. She's by no means unique or is she special in comparison to the other many women who have taken the lead and handles it with grace and class. Kevin Feige is taken Marvel down a SJW road while he was doing so good by being above the fray. If my little girl wants to see it that bad she can wait till it appears on redbox. I don't think Brie Larson is an appropriate role model because of the way she treats people Larson's Carol Danvers is a way better character than Ridley's Rey. I loved Rey in Force Awakens, but Last Jedi wasted all the potential. We needed something explaining she was special. I do think she could be. All Kylo did was voice her fear her parents were worthless scum for dumping her, maybe selling her. Johnson wasted all of the set up from TFA

Johnson wasted all of the set up from TFA I don't exactly hate Rey... but she pretty much ticks off all the checkboxes on how NOT to write your main character. It's like they forgot everything we learned in the last few decades of storytelling and reverted back to cardboard cutout placeholders. As far as TLJ, she wasn't the worst thing in that movie, but it certainly continued her downward spiral. At the very least, it didn't do anything to make her a better character. Now I'm not that impressed with Carol Danvers either, but she has far more redeeming qualities. If I were to pass them a grade, Carol Danvers would get a "needs improvement" whereas Rey gets a complete "fail".
