Not good at drawing conclusions from stats are you Let's say the figure is 63% (though the figure online is 68.3%) you are playing the white men figure against the "blacks" figure. Not black men..men and women, which makes no sense. And are African-Americans the only non-white demographic? No. Plus you are ignoring the other element..sex. 50.8% of the US population is female

Fact is she is going public with it when the public dont care 1 iota about the diversity of privileged middle class film critics/journalists who get free access to movies and payed whilst doing so. If she was vocal publicly about a school shooting or forgein wars or climate change or some other humanitarian issues, then no rational person would have a problem with that. This just stinks of SJW forcefeeding garbage and her wanting to hog the spotlight. Same reason why last years Oscars got terrible ratings because dipsticks like Meryl Streep couldnt shut up about first world problems.

1. Couldn't give a flying fuck about US sports 2. All I did was point out his interpretation of the figures was wrong. Didn't say what should or shouldn't be done in respect of those figures.

It's not merit-based once you bring racial or other favorite Marxist-centered politics into it.
Football and Basketball used to be all white--the sports were invented for European heritages so it makes sense. It would be like being astonished that Japanese Sumo wrestling is dominated by Japanese, or that a women's beauty pageant doesn't have men competing.
Now the majority of NFL and NBA are black--the claim that it is due to merit is not sincere--because it functioned perfectly well with all white teams. No one claimed they lacked merit.
There are many black singers now-targeted for Europeans. There ARE plenty of white singers with merit.
Ditto with film.
It amounts to Europeans being shut out of their culture-since the big media companies are funding various ethnic-specific tv shows--BET, Black-focused awards, it is only Europeans who are aggressively discouraged to suppress cultural expression, even in art forms they invented.
You cannot get more obnoxiously audacious than that.
If every ethnic group had their own outlet for expression to their own audiences it would be more harmonious.
The problem is entirely with the media company monopolies and their weird anti-European focus.
