What are they thinking as they ask a man who is the embodiment of avarice and greed, a man who once tried to evict an elderly woman so he could expand a limousine parking lot, a man who lies with such ease, a man who cheated on all three of his wives, a man who admitted that he's never asked a god he claims to believe in for forgiveness, a man who has comically tried to reference Bible quotes and failed...to autograph their Bibles?

I have been reflecting on this ever since that abomination of an individual took power and reading some of the shit on the politics board from his supporters. I don't live there so I can't personally observe, however in general terms, to me it comes down to the general hypocrisy of the far right ( especially the religious ones) On here fundamentalist and other Christians say that they believe that there is an objective morality set down by God in the Bible. Others of us maintain that it is subjective as morals change over communities and over time according to a kind of evolutionary pattern. Once the Bible supported slavery and so did religious Americans...and now they don't...is an example. The BIGGEST hypocrisy of all in America at the moment is the hypocritical flexibility of morals from a community that swears by an absolute, as a matter of foundational principle of their faith... IF they support Trump ...and where is his supporter base?. The religious right. it is fucking unbelievable.

The religious right in American is all about authoritarianism and Upsetting The Libs. Their attachment to actual religious values is nothing more than a superficial side show. They love Trump's strong man posturing, they love the Wall, they love even more that they are getting dream judge appointments which will harm democracy and progress for at least an entire generation if not longer.
Simply put, their support of Trump is completely logical and advances everything they really want.

I don't see anything Christian in Trump, or the religious right in the US.
All I see in your fundos and evangelists is hate, anger, greed, self entitlement, a perpensity for violence, and a rejection of Christ's teachings.

Out of curiosity, Creped Cruseder, are there any religious people whom you understand?
President Trump is being packaged as the living embodiment of King Cyrus, the Persian King who released the Israelites from their captivity in Babylon. Notice how I said living embodiment instead of reincarnation, because these people have the vapors at the idea of reincarnation. That's such a Hindu thing. It's of the Devil and all that. Anyway, FWIW, I'm a Christian and I don't believe for one nanosecond that Donald Trump is the modern-day King Cyrus. I think it's all a setup to dupe these people, and so far it's working rather well.

Rather large numbers of people in the United States who call themselves "Christians" are indeed not religious at all. They are too new to, and separate from, religious lifestyles. They have no religious traditions and are not like likely to learn any from politicians. They have said so themselves that they did not vote for Trump because he is religious. There is some sort of allegiance there, but it is not to a god of rules. Judaism does not need the "help" of such Christianity. It only gives Israel a bad name that Christians in the United States align themselves with Israel. If they really want to help Israel they should keep their filthy "Christianity" off it. Trump signing Bibles plays into the "Christian" notion that it doesn't matter how you live your life, it only matters what group you claim to support. The only people left who believe Trump is doing their country or their religion any good are very severely mentally retarded. Each day it becomes more the spectacle.

Well over 90% of the Trump supporters, of those I've met, give a very definite impression that they are only supporters because they're pushed into supporting for him by left wing extremist wackos.
Trump is accused fairly of Inhumanity.
However, most people, particularly white males and also Christians, are constantly blamed for crimes and thoughts they not only never were guilty of, but which they couldn't be guilty of, and indeed are often accused via ancestry, even though not a single one of their forefathers could possibly have been guilty of the crimes they're accused of. And indeed, they are screamed at and threatened over bizarre accusations, and almost every time these "false accusers" are white people.
Hence, this "overkill" of false accusations becomes proof of two realities and induces a third belief which isn't a reality, but which becomes psychologically manifested, due to the extreme left wackos. 1. The reality that those white people making the accusations against innocent white men are proven to be at least aiding and abetting the truly guilty people, and that means the "false accusers" are actually the real descendants of the guilty parties, and are also the ones guilty of holding back minorities presently. The present condition is proven by the fact they now prevent white men not in their mob families from being allowed an opportunity. An example is when I began college in 1974, naming Journalism as my major. In those days, you didn't meet the staff or other students till the first class. After I enrolled, the white editor and the white teacher, both told me I wasn't allowed to participate in the school paper or the Journalism program. I was shut out. They told me they needed black people, no white people, but I looked around the room and saw all their white "mob family and friends" allowed into the program. I already met some of these in other freshman classes, and knew they were first year like me, but accepted. I remember two even speaking about their SAT scores being low in English, high in Mechanics, while I was in the top 1% of English and Math in SAT, and had the best grades in high school. I did this with perseverance in poverty, going hungry, going beaten by everyone around me, adults, teachers, parents, peers, abused in every direction, and still studied to get the scores. But I wasn't allowed a first chance. These "insiders" were. These were the same people who once banned Negroes. Now, they just found other people to ban. The mob family was getting much bigger. This was just the first of many such instances.
2. The second reality is that no matter how scary the extreme right is, the extreme left becomes even scarier. The fact of the matter is that the extreme right sets policy that forces all people outside their mob family into a lifeboat. The extreme left are their "hatchet men" who decide who is allowed on the raft. It isn't a case of protecting your place on the raft. You're never in the raft. You're just close enough to see the raft, and you're in the water, and they can propel the raft faster than you can swim through the waves. This makes it a supernatural mob, which is reality. The portion that sets the policy, and the portion that finds it more important to choose who they will allow in the boat than to fight the policy. This is proven by the false accusations of the extreme left. There are maniacs among the extreme left who will sanction the murder of innocent, helpless babies and fight against the execution of murderers. There are maniacs in the extreme left who deny victim rights, even blaming victims of crime, who are the poor people, denying them a first chance, while insisting on giving the gang members every second and third chance. And the reality is that gang members are NOT poor people. They prey on poor people. They aren't allowed in gangs unless they bring extreme resources to the table, resources that mean they could never be poor.
3. The false impression this gives is that when someone like Trump is accused, those people who are consistently abused and threatened, don't believe the accusations, because they've never seen an accusation against them that was true. Psychologically, this is exactly what the demons want, and what the extreme left wackos who are out of control to the demons will provide. There are wackos who will blame the Trump supporters, who are the victims here, but they are victims. They are pushed there by being denied entry into society. They have no choice. The extreme left wing wacko is not a victim. That individual is just controlled by demons. Since the average person never even meets the extreme right wing tycoon, but only meets the "hatchet men" of the extreme left, the average person has no way of knowing that the extreme right wing tycoon is actually responsible, but lets be clear. Both are demonic members of the mob. The right wing fanatic and the left wing extremist.
Shut up the demon and Trump is exposed. However, the demon is in the very idiots that claim to be "never Trumpers". They are in the mob, or believe they're in the mob, and as long as they "blame the victim" and purposely make "false accusations against the innocent", they are the biggest friends the Republicans have, and also the number one campaigners for Trump. If they don't know this, then that in itself proves they are out of control to the demons.
And sure enough, my point will be proven by some moron who will denounce the reality of demons even after reading this. I don't make this stuff up folks.

He is the reason some people hate capitalism. Joe Scarborough is an idiot if he thinks Trump is making anyone proud to be a capitalist. Trump is the reason some people become socialists. He is not exactly a capitalist, much to the relief of actual capitalists. His tariffs are a command economy item, not free market. All his "arguments" are argumentum ad baculum in other words use of force instead of reason. People who fear the country might turn socialist should get a real capitalist with an education in economics instead of Trump. John Hickenlooper's answer to Joe Scarborough should be that no one who understands economics is proud of Donald Trump. No one should be surprised that young people are turning sharply to the left, partly for real. It is what should be expected after electing Trump.

There's too many money grubbing military contractors for us not to be involved in some sort of global conflict.

Last time I checked we bombed a Syrian airbase, backing Saudi Arabia in the Yemen War, sending drone strikes, and still stuck in the Afghanistan War. That's not your typical foreign intervention that America is famous for. Remaining stuck in Afghanistan is not the result of 3 years of the present government.
And you didn't answer my question. What percentage of people do you think will have legit reasons to vote for Republicans. You can of course answer that zero % people may have legit reasons to vote for the Republicans. The present odds are 1.61 for Democratic party and 2.37 for the Republicans. That means Democrats have a slight edge but not much. I am just trying to understand the mentality of Democratic party supporters and how they view politics.
