Dean Jagger - should have been - Ralph Richardson
Edmond O'Brien - should have been - any of the On the Waterfront nominees
Red Buttons - should have been - Sessue Hayakawa, (or Vittorio De Sica who was the best thing about A Farewell to Arms)

2. Jack Palance, City Slickers- of the nominees Jones, but damn Goodman should've won or Oldman.

I at least remember some things about Stagecoach.

I am not very fond of his performance. Call me crazy, but I actually prefer all the nominees over Dafoe, even Don Ameche.
