It's at $202.4 million worldwide now. Second weekend looks to be about $23 million or a 56% drop which is about the same or a little worse than Captain Marvel.
At the moment its doing similar business to The Wolverine and Incredible Hulk so it might finish between $130-140 million, maybe a bit more if it can pull a X-Men First Class.

Maybe its better than said other movies that tried and failed. Like? And at what? Either way, you're a hypocrite. Says you. You praise mcu movies and bash batman and robin despite them being the same. Guardians,Ragnerok,Antman etc are movies that tried and failed to be good compared to Shazam.

It deserves more success best superhero movie of the year But I thought you only liked mature and serious movies. Funny, if Shazam was an MCU movie, you would called it the worst superhero film of the year. Mcu really doesn't care that much for the characters outside the netflix characters

Guardians,Ragnerok,Antman etc are movies that tried and failed to be good compared to Shazam. Says me and a whole lot of other people on here, you *are* a hypocrite. You trash Marvel Studios many times over for having humor and appealing to as wide a marketplace as necessary( little blood, toyetic in places, product placement, no heavy swearing or drug use, light to none sexual situations and bright color palettes with upbeat musical score) and make it clear on numerous occasions you rather watch comic based content which are fairly R rated, darkly lit, shock-a-minute, splatter-fests where the titular characters grunt a lot and do nothing but look angry at the camera throughout. Yet you are giving a total pass to the likes of Aquaman and Shazam which are guilty of what you bash Marvel Studios for doing, by your own criteria both the former and the latter movies should be failures in your eyes, same with Venom given the amount of ridiculousness that went on there(Eddie jumping into a tank full of live lobsters and proceeds to bite their heads off in public). Make up your mind, what do you want from a comic based/superhero starring movie or TV program? What are the yes and no's for you when it comes down to tone? Now, it would be a totally different story if you had said many times before that the humor in the Marvel Studios movies you normally cite do not work for you and why but instead you just go "humor sux, too kiddie". Good at what? Superhero movies? According to pretty much most people they succeeded at being that just fine, you will need to be more specific which makes another essay you need to write - speaking of, where are they? Have them typed up and ready for us to read before Endgame comes out on the 26th, please.

No but she was in the first two thor movies those are nowhere near as bad as ragnerok.

Nope, essay needs to happen you've been shy of detail for too long and its getting tiresome - if that's what "no" was referring to. Ragn arok - you can at least spell the title properly. What makes it objectively worse than the two that preceded it? Hmmm, looks like you've got *another* essay, boy.

It's at $258.8 million now.
It's doing alright I guess but I don't know if it's even going to get to $400 million. It only has Japan left.
Edit: Looks like it dropped 84% in China...damn.

I thought $500m would be the limit, but I was hoping for at least $400m At least the lower budget (some say $80m some say $100m) helps out.

Bit of a letdown seeing those numbers. I guess Endgame is really swallowing the hype for this and other films being released around now

So, in total it will make close to what Endgame will make OW in the US Not likely. This Shazam might make $360-400 million. No movie has even opened to $260 million in US.
