Great video! Points out many of the flaws that I've mentioned previously, such as the bad writing, Brie Larson's awful performance (I said Brie Larson's performance was wooden and robotic; this video says Brie Larson was like a brick), and lack of any personality or character development for the Captain Marvel character. Also points out how wimpy Nick Fury is for getting his eye scratched out by a house pet.

Those films got worse over time and the box office went down with it. Bumblebee barely managed to squeak by. Most of their success comes from China, who just eats that stuff up. Captain Marvel may not be a great film, but it does have some quality.

I will say that it is a real shame Bumblebee didn't make more money in theatres, it was a very solid movie that injected the franchise with much needed heart and character development and it didn't make any attempt to appeal to the SJW crowd and kept politics at the door(A bonus). But I suppose it was bound to make as much as it did given its competition in the winter and that people began to swear off Transformers a while ago.
