Monaco is such a strange event. I always look forward to seeing them navigate the streets at such a crazy pace but then more often than not i'm disappointed at how boring the race is and this last one was probably the most boring in recent memory. I'm really pleased for Lando though and really feel for Valteri, man that bloke has more than his fair share of bad luck. It's a rare day when Lewis doesn't perform but last Saturday was one of those days. The Haas boys went 3 laps down, that's just embarrassing!

Yep, it's looking like it could be one hell of a race tomorrow.
Did anyone see the Indy 500? Man what a great race. I'm really pleased for Helio.

Veekay was doing great, could have been a top 5 finish, but they screwed up his last pit stop. He is still young, plenty of chances. Look at Helio, winning his 4th at the age of 46.
I hope Verstappen has a good start and can pass Hamilton. At least stay out of trouble and get his first Baku podium. I do hope the race is a lot cleaner than qualifying.

In the F2s there were two entertaining sprint races. Lawson and Piastri took each other out on the first corner or Race One and had a couple of great stoushes for points in race two as well.
Championship leader Zhou finished on the podium race one but didn't make it through the second corner of Race Two after contacting Dan Ticktum. Tickmun recovered to finish 6th after finishing 2nd in race one. Schwarzman and Vips were your race winners, both scoring points in both races. Beckmann nabbed 10th and 2nd. I was happy for Indian driver Jehan Daruvala, who finished 4th in race one but was able to finish on the podium in Race two, his third of the season, withstanding significant pressure from Viscaal.
Zhou remains the championship leader by 23 points from Oscar Piastri.
Takeaways for tomorrow: a) should be fun on the first three corners. b) in spite of a long straight, DRS was largely impotent. DRS zone is too far down for trailing cars to make much headway.

Even when he lost a few seconds during his pit stop he didn't react angrily. I hope Perez can continue like this.

Perez has conducted him self impressively well with so much pressure on his shoulders. When he was struggling to adjust to the red bull he admitted it openly. When he made mistakes in Imola he openly said he did and apologised to the team saying he predicts he should have the car sorted by race 5. Well race 5 went pretty well i'd say so fair play Sergio, you are doing a grand job mate!

My heart. That was exciting. Its good to see both Red Bulls on the podium. Should have happend last race. Good race by McLaren after a somewhat disappointing qualification. Bottas getting mad at the team, well done. Leclerc had a very bad weekend. But respect to all the drivers, the green track and wind made for some tricky conditions.

And an Aussie won the F3 Feature Race. Not just any Aussie either: Mick Doohan's lad.

Well that was a decent race. Red Bull nailed the strategy for the first time in what seems forever. Max deserved that win and it was good to see both Red Bull drivers on the podium, it must be a while since that happened. Lando drove well and i'm really impressed with George.
MotoGP was fascinating, I'm so pleased for Marc, it was good to see how much it meant to him. I think Maverick's days at Yamaha maybe numbered.
But once again Indy Car was the best race of the weekend. It's my favourite series to watch so far this year.

Well, Jack Doohan, Remy Gardner and Olly Bayliss all won yesterday. I wonder how many times the sons of 3 former World Champions all won on the same day?
I was happy for Marc, not sure what I think of Fabio as a bloke, but I do think he's the best rider in MotoGP behind Marquez and I hope he wins the title this year. If Marc's getting back to his best he's going to need to. Some good riders coming through the ranks. Agree on Vinales.

Especially three Australian world champions! The jury is out here too regarding Fabio. I like him less after each round i reckon. He seems to be such a drama queen. My missus thinks he's gay or at least very camp. I'd like Jack Miller to take the title this year.
