So you can't napalm the Night King away, you need something with juvenile ex-machina factor and a prediction from some priestess. Who would have known back in the day when this story was about politics and human psychology?

LOL and who what have guessed after all the talk about the prince or princess who was promised to take out the NK was not jons and danys magical baby or jon or dany herself but arya was the one LOL As of now only magical baby i know of is in cerseis belly

That's what the populace is. i said it a long time ago like a year ago when some of these stupid spoilers about cersei loosing her baby in episode 1 and this and that and dany was going to be preggers by episode 2 LOL no wait episode 1 , really doesnt matter , then all these expert pundits on youtube cersei is lying about her pregnancy , i think jamie confirmed she wasnt lying shut them up and now new videos the REAL villian of this story is Cersei !even if truth stared in front of their faces they still dont want to admit who the real villains are i mean NK displayed it very clearly .

This entire episodes totally wasted the NK and the White Walker - first his is ridiculously overpowered, and then Arya. But ok, the sneak attack was the idea of this battle...
This entire battle plan was utter pish, and it was clear from day one...a lucky punch, but all troops wasted, and a dragon
But the people loved it: 9.5 at imdb.com
Only good things: Sansa alive, Drogon alive (how this blonde bimbo was almost even killing him off...arghhhh) maybe Sam.
Jaime, the Hound and Brienne are the bonus.
The battle was a tedious mess. First in black, then in reddish brown.
So, Jon the stupid and his bimbo availed nothing (it was a lucky punch by Arya), but nearly all is wasted to face Cercei...maybe Dorne is saving the day, or the Lannister defect to Jaime and Tyrion.

Well said and we still don't know if all of them survived notice how Jon was focused running in winterfell didn't even stop to help out Sam who was swamped by the WW? Wouldn't be unrealistic if no other characters from the battle died in next weeks episode ? Supposedly they were heavily hit ,injured , cersei is no Nk and they won't defeat her easily as Dany thinks now cersei has more power only thing they can hope for if its cersei gets betrayed from golden company /her own armies Sansa delivered once again one of the most important and smart lines "There nothing we can do , that's why we're down here none of us can do anything ,it's the truth It's the most heroic thing we can do now look the truth in the face" 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

Lol Yep only time I seen NK smile he was recognizing one of his "own" and all those signs he left them make no mistake that message he pinned on the wall with the little boys parts was the Targaryen sigil , D&D said ending will have a F up moment and its coming

Wasted Freys to Super-Arya for the delight of cheering morons, stupid battle plans that somehow turn out less disastrous than they should… I read now that they had Daenerys pick up a sword on the battle field and use it to fight together with Jorah, then Arya fell on the Night King and saved everyone's lives just at the right moment

I want her dead earlier just so they'd shut up. But yes, obviously, ice and fire are the villains of the story. GRRM's beloved "subversion" is in making them look like the good guys all along.

The whole Bran nonsense sticks out badly because the rest has felt so real all along. It seems like the whole north (of the Wall) story-line is a dream sequence of sort, an allegory, an idea while everything south of Winterfell is real. It's a hard proposition to sell and it clearly isn't bought by anyone who's not an unconditional fan.

It's a hard proposition to sell and it clearly isn't bought by anyone who's not an unconditional fan. thats how i felt all along , i love fantasy shows but when they are explained right i do not think George martin knew what to do with the WW just my opinion it would have been better if he just sticked to witches or prophecies some sort of magic than the dead zombies jon snow ever since he joined the nightwatch was focused on the WW and killing the NK he didnt think much of anything else than that it had consumed him in a way NOW that he has to deal with more real situations and real people not dead things it will be interesting to see how he interacts with other characters
