This is why you don't fuck with wolves and dragons.
But especially wolves.

Well, The Fans wanted to see Daenarys Burn It All.......... SO BE IT!!!I got half of what I wanted. She didn't fly north and burn Winterfell, but I'm still happy.

I enjoyed it. But if I’m honest I stopped trying to think about it and decided to just enjoy the spectacle of it. And boy was this episode full of spectacle.

That was an intense episode. My heart was racing from Varys' execution to the end. Cleganebowl lived up to my expectations. And glad we got Mad Dany. I feared they might chicken out because she's such a fan favorite, and also because she became kind of a symbol of girl power. But yeah, try defending that, Dany stans (just kidding, I know you probably have all kinds of warped excuses and I don't want to hear them).
I will admit, I'm semi-disappointed Jaime didn't kill Cersei. Perhaps they survived and Jaime will put her out of her misery? Eh, doubt it.

Overall it was a decent episode but the way they ended Cersei was horrible. Part of my hopes she survived so we can get a better send off but even her surviving that would be a hard reach. She’s a great character and deserved a better send off

Like did you see the first 5 mins of action. Fucking morons Euron & Cersei so confident and the idiot leader of the Golden Company feeling pretty pleased with what was about to come. And then the mother showed her wrath. Fucking show stealer. Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea totally annihilated the Iron Fleet and then the Golden company all by herself. Then it was a cake walk. I mean the first 5 minutes was breathtaking.

Not great. So. Much. Arya. I'm over it, man. I'm over this show's obsession with her. A weirdly unsatisfying episode. I like Arya and think she’s a badass, but her appearances in this episode were pointless. Added nothing to the story. Even if she ends up on the Iron Throne (which would make no sense), they can’t even say the common people love her for trying to save them. Everyone who saw any part of that is dragon ashes

I'm gonna give this episode a 6 I guess. I mean it was a fine episode as a whole but at the same time I'm furious with it as well.
I kept wanting Arya to just piss off this episode. I had no issue with her killing the Night King just had issues with how it was ultimately done. Now it seems her purpose in this episode is to now set up her killing Dany. So, I guess Arya is just going to be just the focus of the finale I guess. I mean, hasn't she kind of done enough already?
I am liking the Dany/Mad Queen turn. I know a lot of people are hating it because they were huge Dany fans but I never gave a fuck for her. This is her actually becoming interesting to me.
The Clegane Bowl was pretty good.
The Golden Company like, just simply existed I guess? They were simply written in to be cannon fodder.
The Cersei/Jaime aspect was just pure garbage imo. Jaime's entire redemption arc was/is pointless so getting invested in him through all of that now feels like a sham. Cersei going out off screen in a cave of rubble is just a MASSIVE fucking let down. Like, wtf was that bullshit? Not getting the Jaime killing Cersei aspect of this has officially made me just no longer give a shit. I'm officially not even hyped to see how the show ends. I'll watch it without any invested interest now. So, I guess there is that? I might not even watch it live since I think WWE's PPV "Money in the Bank" is next Sunday. So yeah, it's now become just another show that's ending for me now which fucking sucks.

The Clegane Bowl was pretty good. I personally felt so otherwise. The Mountain looked like some cartoon. The whole thing appeared like video game fight. This was a caricature of the first fight between the two.

This was a caricature of the first fight between the two. It did kind of give me Mortal Kombat vibes. Mountain looked like the undead characters in MK11.

Sadly a lot of the scenes in this episode looked oddly cartoonish. Like Grey Worm running up and spearing that golden guy. It looked like bad video game graphics. The cinematography was off. Same feelings here. They started well but only the first few minutes felt like watching good action. The later part was kinda disappointing.

IIRC, he lead her to her one route of escape and it was closed off, so she never had a chance.

Dany officially irredeemable in my book. She could cure cancer and give it away for free, and I'd still be like, "B***h needs to die."

Not really. IIRC, he lead her to her one route of escape and it was closed off, so she never had a chance. Exactly. So I don't think we can attribute her death to Jaime if he merely changed her location of death. But even if we give it to Jaime on a technicality, I do wish he deliberately did it. Like another poster said, it kind of feels like his arc went nowhere.
