If you had the smarts to admiral a battle cruiser you would already know the answer to your question. I have a spot open in the mess hall. One of our seamen first class will teach you how to cook a proper seafood platter. That's a question that's more your speed.

You mean like Captain Marvel? Captain Marvel is not really a spin-off. Her movie pretty much has zero connection with any of the other MCU films.

Having characters from other series appear in your movie doesn’t really make it a spin-off. That’s just a shared universe being a shared universe. Captain Marvel isn’t about Nick Fury and Coulson was pretty much just a cameo. This is the very first appearance of a lead character. She’s isn’t like Spider-Man and Black Panther who appeared in other films and then got their own movie.

Don't know how many times I've corrected people when they say X-men was what got Marvel on the movie map when it was Blade. Blade opened the doors, but Raimi's Spider-man is what got us to accept the characters wearing their costumes.

Yeah Blade doesn't get the credit it deserves.

Many people were saying that Black Panther was the first black led superhero film so obviously wasn’t an influential film. Blade was only a moderate success as well. Why do you think he hasn’t resurged in the MCU?

I was speaking in the context of it being a spin-off.

No they haven't, very few people have been wondering that if any. Why say “if any” after I gave you examples? I’ve seen them on the comment section of the Dark Phoenix trailer as well. Also met someone on Facebook who said that he’s been seeing the same thing.

Why is it so hard to believe that causal viewers wouldn’t know about studio politics regarding Marvel properties?

The X-men didn't play a pivotal role in the original Infinity Gauntlet storyline. They're probably best known for fighting the other heroes in that series and not Thanos.

He keeps going to them and asking if he can be a part of the new Blade reboot and they patting his head and sending him away. lol

The X-men have never interacted with any of the other Marvel characters. At least the Guardians have the excuse of being in another part of space and still they introduced an Infinity stone. The X-men are on Earth and never interacted with any of the Avengers. Every Earth based character interacted with some of the others.

I was speaking in the context of it being a spin-off. You do know that all of the movies are, at the very least, a spin-off of each other, right? I'd say that all of them are sequels to the previous movie. I anything, Captain Marvel is a spin-off of Infinity War because of the pager.

Black Panther attracted loads of black people that never watched any of the MCU films before and Captain Marvel did the same for women.
