Those people are more likely being sarcastic. No, people actually answered them and they revealed that they legit didn’t know. Why is it so hard to believe that causal viewers wouldn’t know about studio politics regarding Marvel properties? It's not that hard. I think it's cute.
"Casual viewer" spans a wide spectrum of people. I wouldn't expect anybody who's seen both sets of movies, even a few of each, to ask why they don't overlap. But if they do, it's probably because they grew up with one and not the other.

Yup. British people are know to love their MDMA. OMG! She's totally whacked out in that! She should be embarrassed! LOL Sophie Turner is 23 years old. Experimenting with drugs, sexuality and even your identity are all on the table at that age. I think it's on page four of the "I'm Young, Rich, Famous and (moderately) Attractive" handbook. I saw her on Dr. Phil of all places the other day, and I was surprised by how self-aware she seemed for someone of her age and in her position. If you're 23 and you're not embarrassing yourself some of the time, then you have cause to be embarrassed genuinely.

I'm saying it would be embarrassing to have a gif of you that whacked out forever plastered all over the internet for people to easily see. "Remember this?" someone will one day say to her children! LOL!

Seems like it was around her 19th birthday based on this tweet.

LOL! Not just a gif. That’s from is a video where you can people in the background talking about buying drugs. Woman: “You need three ten(tenth of a gram)? For a $119.” Man: “While I only have threes left.” Another woman: “$150. Can you get me a pill, please?”

If those are legit, then it shows something about the people wondering that. The X-men have never interacted with any of the other Marvel characters. At least the Guardians have the excuse of being in another part of space and still they introduced an Infinity stone. The X-men are on Earth and never interacted with any of the Avengers. Every Earth based character interacted with some of the others. Have The Defenders and The Punisher interacted with any of the Avengers? They are on Earth.

I was speaking in the context of it being a spin-off. You do know that all of the movies are, at the very least, a spin-off of each other, right? I'd say that all of them are sequels to the previous movie. I anything, Captain Marvel is a spin-off of Infinity War because of the pager. That pager was only in a post-credit scene. Like how Into The Spiderverse was in the post-credit scene of Venom.

Are you trying to discount anything that would connect Captain Marvel to other MCU movies? Next you'll say that Thor wasn't spun out of Iron Man 2.

But they did interact with something from the movies. Hammertech in Luke Cage. There was nothing at all that associates the X-men with anything in the MCU. Nothing at all. Hell, Andre Braugher's character in F4-2 was changed from being Nick Fury. Even the connective character of Quicksilver is 2 different characters.

Black Panther attracted loads of black people that never watched any of the MCU films before and Captain Marvel did the same for women. Wait so you are talking about ultra casuals? Not even the casuals that have seen most of the movies?

Is it possible to find people on the internet that don't know what they are talking about? Yes.
Is that indicative of something important? No.
Anything else?

Point is that post credit scene was nothing more than an ad for another movie. Not like you need to watch her movie to understand the plot of Endgame. Have The Defenders and The Punisher interacted with any of the Avengers? They are on Earth. But they did interact with something from the movies. Hammertech in Luke Cage. Wait so you are talking about ultra casuals? Not even the casuals that have seen most of the movies? Yeah.

Doesn't matter if it was an ad or her movie didn't matter to Endgame (it does since it explains where she was this whole time).
Not really. Interaction is interaction. At least the Netflix shows had something. The X-men movies (hell Fox in general) had nothing that would remotely hint at them being even the tiniest bit connected. The X-men movies didn't even want to connect to other X-men movies.
Why do people that barely pay attention matter in the scheme of things? A lot of those people ask why Superman didn't help, also.
