I've got a different question: Jon was sent to the NW to appease the Unsullied... who immediately set sail to get as far away from Westeros as possible. So what's to keep Bran from pardoning Jon after? Integrity. By doing this, a ruler would show his followers that he is not to be trusted. If the King goes back on his word when someone turns their back, he'll probably do it again. Which is why Sansa should do it.

As an aside that Small Council scene was horrible. It was meant to portray Tyrion in Hell. I hope he hates it for the rest of his life No, Tyrion will ultimately come to enjoy being the Hand again. Bran is a reasonable boss, which is something he always wanted. Plus, he is the head of House Lannister, and he is the most powerful eligible bachelor alive in the 7 kingdoms.

Do not rob me of the only hint of consolation I had

Which is why Sansa should do it. Why does Jon even need a pardon? He is free up north to do whatever he wants. Who is going to report him if he visits Winterfell? Sansa? Would Bran really do anything to Jon? Its so stupid. Dany and her troops were killing everyone and anyone for the slightest lack of respect. But Tyrion is betraying her left and right. To her face and behind her back. He disrespects her in front of her troops after their victory at Kings Landing. And he ends up #1 advisor to King Bran the Broken !!! Jon fucking kills her and he ends up king of the north which is declared independent. And Greyworm and Dany's troops are okay with this? Ridiculous.

Was it just me? Or did it seem like the unsullied grew in numbers after the victory at Kings Landing? They were decimated and almost beaten at Winterfell during the battle with the Night King and the Army of the Dead. They barely had enough to fill one street in Kings Landing. But during Dany's victory speech, her troops stretched farther than the eyes could see.

I thought the first 4,5 seasons were good. But right around season 6 things started getting stupid.
Season 8 was a big disappointment.

Why was Tyrion crying while digging out Cersie and Jaime? Cersie hated him. He couldn't have been crying for her.
Was he really surprised Jamie died?
Seem like forced, fake melodrama.
(There should have been violinists in the corner.)

I enjoyed it more than I was expecting to be honest. The Small Council scene was hilarious, loved Brienne's final scene and even Jon Snow looked happy for a change.
Also loved the speech by Dany. If anyone deserves an acting nom this season, it's Emilia Clarke.

I tried to figure out why any of them were even there and the "jokes" did not land. Bran showing up asking about a dragon he could easily look for himself as if it even mattered and then leaving was bizarre.

Ser Brienne was Lord (Lady?) Commander of the Kingsguard
Ser Bronn, Lord of Highgarden and Lord Paramount of the Reach was Master of Coin
Ser Davos Seaworth, Lord of the Rainwood was Master of Ships
Lord Samwell Tarly of Horn Hill was Grandmaester
As King Brandon noted they were in need of a Master of Whisperers, War and Laws. Then he excused himself, as he can always find out what went on and interject his opinions later after they're done squabbling amongst themselves.

Comment on the voting here....I always spoke with several people about the show after a show would air. Usually everyone was so excited about something that happened on the show and people would talk and talk about it.
The finale was very different...not one person I spoke with enjoyed the show. I've never seen that happen with any show. And then I see the voting here and it reflects that as well. Boy they sure did fuck up the ending.

Why was Tyrion crying while digging out Cersie and Jaime? Cersie hated him. He couldn't have been crying for her. He was crying for Jaime. He freed his brother because he cared for him, because Jaime was one of the few visited him during his own trial, because Jaime freed him saving his life, because Jaime was the only Lannister who was kind to him. They loved each other.

He basically said he was going to try and find it. That being said, he simply asked for news. I think a lot people have this misconception that Bran is All Knowing but he isn't.

I was basically saying that him popping up and then leaving after asking about the dragon is silly as I Bronn being Master of Coin. I get that this is a role for crooked people but he was never that intelligent. I didn’t even know he could read.
