I rarely eat bacon (I love it) so when I eat it, I have at least 4 pieces.

If I'm ordering a breakfast at a restaurant, I ask for only 2 slices, unless, I'm dining with someone else who says that they will eat the rest. It's not that I don't LOVE bacon. I do. But, the wonderful combination of bacon, eggs, potatoes and toast is too much for me. I don't want to waste. If I'm cooking strips of bacon, at home, as crumbles for another dish, I cook an extra 2 ... because I "pick," at least 2 strips worth.

I'll buy an 8-oz or 12 oz package on rare occasion. Then it's 1-2 slices and may have another later in the day. Same thing each day until they're gone.
This morning I had the remaining 3 slices. Cooked in the air fryer for 12 min at 360 without preheating. On Dave's Powerseed bread with onions, avocado, and black pepper.

I buy only medallions. To make up for the lack of fat fuelled extra flavour I always buy the smoked medallions.

Occasionally I'll eat bacon bits on a salad. Other than that, I generally don't eat bacon.

I'm waiting a little longer before getting one. I won't ever have to use my oven or mess up the top of the stove again!!!! And this will be so much easier to clean!

Thank you, Pinky, the towels do a good job absorbing the grease. There's only one thing that smells like bacon and that's BACON!!!!!

At home I only ever use bacon chopped up in pieces and as an ingredient of a pasta sauce or a soup. In restaurants I might eat it as a topping on a burger. It's very rare that I would eat a strip of bacon at breakfast. There are many hotels nowadays that offer a breakfast buffet but when they do have bacon it's that microwavable shit that I find inedible.
