did somebody put a curse on the Warriors?
Draymond - sprained finger - questionable for game vs. Hornets today

Toronto down 26 at Milwaukee, got to 4 & then blew it.
I think Gasol needs to go, he doesn't match their pace & he's their best trade asset.

0.4 second 3-pt winner for Korkmaz for the 76ers. 129-128 over Portland, back from 21 points down. Portland had gone ahead with a 3 by Simons with 2.2 left.

I keep hoping Furkan develops into the 3&D shooter we need. Drafted in 2016 late in the 1st he's greatly underwhelmed - but has shown flashes both overseas and in Summer League. He's slow-footed and not the best defender - nor can he create his own shot (yet) - kid's only 22 but is pretty much a catch and shoot player from 3. Sixers didn't pick up his option last year during the season which was a sign he was gone after the year. And he was - went back overseas. Sixers late in Free Agency got spurned by Korver going to the Bucks after he was bought out - they needed a shooter so decided to give Kork another shot. Hope this is a big confidence booster for the kid. Brown stated he needed to develop his own knock down shooter on the team - hopefully Kork is that guy. 5-0. They go 2-2 on this West Coast swing I'll be thrilled. Got the Suns, Jazz and Nuggets coming up.

The 76ers are the most hated team in the NBA, or at least they should be. Sure, the Lakers are easy to hate, but they're one AD injury away from total garbage. Anyone who's an NBA fan, no, a sports fan should be rooting for the process to fail. In fact, I'm absolutely sure it will.

Charles Barkley and Stephen A. Smith - Have both picked the Philadelphia 76ers to represent the Eastern Conference in the 2019/20 NBA Finals. Oh My God! It's Happening! Stay Calm! Everybody Calm Down! It's Happening! Stay Calm! Two guys who's respective careers began in Philadelphia pick a Philadelphia team to win it all. Color me shocked.

Heat pasted the Rockets last night - can the Heat really be this good?
Had them around 5th or so in the East.
Doncic puts up another triple double for the Mavs - this kid is looking like a HOFer already

Doncic puts up another triple double for the Mavs - this kid is looking like a HOFer already They are tied with the Clippers for first in shooting percentage, and are forcing 19.3 turnovers a game, tops in the league. Surprised Dragic has been a 6th man since his injury. Do they even have a starting point guard? Butler (3 games), Winslow (4 games), and Adebayo are their assist leaders. Nunn has been excellent, as has James Johnson.

ESPN Power Rankings Week #3:
1. Sixers 2. Lakers 3. Clippers 4. Bucks 5. Celtics 6. Jazz 7. Nuggets 8. Heat 9. Spurs 10. Raptors
Props to the Celtics, Heat and Raptors - Eastern Conference may play out tougher than I thought.

This is pretty much just extra ammunition for me from respected NBA Insiders (Spears, Marks amongst others) to reiterate that the Sixers are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I'd be surprised if the Spurs hung in and the Blazers or Rockets didn't climb. Not expecting much from the 4-1 TWolves.

Blazers looking overrated.
3-4
The abysmal Warriors beat them.
Eric Paschall - rookie out of Villanova who I wanted no part of in the draft - scored 34 pts last night for the Warriors.
He's been labeled as a Draymond clone by some. Saw him play at 'Nova for years - was a 'good' player; however did nothing eye popping or exceptionally well. He's averaging 16.7 pts thus far which I'm shocked about - thought this game was going to be too quick for him.

Even without Ayton. Was thinking 2-2 on this West Coast swing would be a success. Now 1-1. We've still go the Jazz and Nuggets coming up - could very well drop those two but Embiid is back - hoping for a split at least. After that I expect a 6-0 run - we've got Hornets, Cavs, Magic, Thunder, Cavs again, Knicks - then face the Spurs.

Hawks John Collins suspended 25 games for a growth hormone.
Big hit for the exciting Hawks.
Looks like the NBA is cracking down - first Ayton 25 games now Collins.
That's almost a third of the season - could be detrimental to a teams playoff hopes in the long run if a team has to play a lot of catch up at the end of the year.
