sixers up 11 in the first vs. The Raptors Josh Richardson back to the locker room for the Sixers and he won't return - not good - looked like he was grabbing his hammy. Raptors up 5, early in the 4th.

Jon Johnson of Sports Radio WIP Per league source - Sixers concentrating on acquiring Bogdan Bogdonavic or Robert Covington. Kind of torn on Cov - we really need a 1 or a 2 - not that I'd complain about a wing who can pop a 3 and has good defense. I like Cov - but it's kind of 'been there done that' and his 3pt% is off this year and he may be taking minutes from Tisse. Focus on Bogie if it's 1 of the 2 - Mike Scott, Zhaire Smith/Johnah Bolden a couple of 2nd Rounds and cash - if that doesn't do it - offer the above for Cov - just make sure Tisse is still a part of the regular rotation. What kind of an asshole names their kid Bogdan Bogdanovic, anyway? It's like your last name is Samuels and you name your kid Sam. Bol Bol dislikes this post.

I can't remember them ever taking a technical foul back, but Brown just got un-t'd up.

I like it when the Raptors win.
Srsly though, the Sixers look much more alive without Embiid sulking all over the floor. His trade value will never be higher. Ever.

San Antonio might want to consider guarding Zion Williamson as if he were a human being who's played basketball more than once.

22 points/ 7 rebounds/ 3 assists, 8-11 from the floor. Not bad for only playing like 19 minutes.
Kid looks pretty good out there. Needs to get in better shape, though.

You guys have beaten us like 15 straight times up there. Ridiculous. We shot a ridiculous amount of 3s - wish when we had leads at times in the 2nd Half (which vanished quickly) - we pulled the ball back a bit and then tried to work it inside - but we kept jacking 3s. Fred VanVleet was driving me nuts at the end of the game - that kid is good. Sixers went on a serious scoring drought at the very end of the game - it was like the last 3 minutes plus they couldn't score and the Rapts went on a 10 point run - needed somebody to step up and stop the bleeding - team was just ice cold. I wouldn't trade Embiid - I don't think you ever trade a player of his caliber - but it is intriguing if you got a CJ/Booker as well as a starting 3&D Wing and a couple of unprotected #1s back for him and put CJ/Booker/3&D Wing next to Simmons and see what they could do - I still wouldn't do it. It's up to Brand to find the correct pieces for the team to put around Simmons/Embiid and up to Brown to stagger the lineups correctly to see who works best with who especially in terms of floor spacking. Anyway I'm rambling - congrats on another win against us.

The Sixers were without two of their starters and honestly still should have won the game. There were some awful calls in the final five minutes. Also, the Sixers just lost their aggressiveness late. Not sure why.

I'm getting very antsy/anxious in regards to the trade deadline.
Wonder how we're going to gain an asset when in all likelihood nobody will take on Horford's contract (I'd actually like to save him for the playoffs as I think we're built for a 7 game series vs. the likes of the Bucks) - and we really just have slop to offer since Ben, Joel, JRich, Tisse, Harris will likely be off limits unless Brand is actually willing to wheel and deal yet again trading a big gun like Harris.
All we really have to offer is trash - Mike Scott, James Ennis, Raul/Trey, Jonah Bolden, KOQ, Zhaire Smith - I mean - who really wants that steaming pile of poop - unless a team just wants a player off their books and we have to include future 1sts with these duds.
Thinking we're going to have to wait until the Buyout Period to try and strike gold.

sh*t
josh richardson potentially lost until All-Star Break - will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks.
this cat has had nagging injuries all year
i don't recall off the top of my head how many games our starting 5 has been together - but it's got to be less than half
Simmons JRich Harris Horford Embiid
Need this unit to gel if no trade deadline moves are going to be made going into the playoffs (I'd slide Horford to the bench to back up Jo-Jo and slide Tobie to the '4' and start 'Tisse with a healthy JRich but that's just me - more athletic and you'd get better floor spacing. Furkan first off the bench and Al backs up 'Bid - you can even flip Furk and 'Tisse - just move Al to the bench - he'll be fresh for the playoffs too - Jo-Jo 28 mpg and Al 20 mpg give or take depending on matchups)

You guys have beaten us like 15 straight times up there. Ridiculous. If the Clippers are actually afraid of facing the Lakers in a series with Montrezl Harrell, I wouldn't put it past them to see if conceivably a package for Embiid would be in the cards. Kawhi & George aren't spring puppies, they've gotta be all-in already, not least if Kawhi walks away in 2-3yrs himself. The Sixers would have to love Harrell... that guy's energy & size would be dangerous in the East. That from some talking heads who aren't convinced the Clippers care if they're 2-0(?) against them, they're not feeling great about LeBron & AD at 110% for 7 games.

There was a guy on NBATV who floated that suggestion around a couple of weeks ago. Forget his name - if you google it - there's a story out there about it.

Oh it was definitely the team's fault, like I have talked about many times on here. You are being very dense right now. I have talked crap on Brett Brown and this team's lack of aggressiveness so many times on this board it is insane.

You are being very dense right now. I have talked crap on Brett Brown and this team's lack of aggressiveness so many times on this board it is insane. It's been aggravating watching them fall apart late in games over the years which are very winnable. Whether it be BB's play calling or substitutions, Ben's (I love him just as much as the next guy) inability to run a halfcourt offense in the closing minutes when the game slows down, to Joel's crucial turnovers late in games - we've seen it for years now. We'd give the ball to Butler in these situations last year as he was our closer - he was the adult in the room as even Brown himself put it. There's rumors swirling around out there about bringing Derrick Rose in at the trade deadline - a lot of Sixers fans are against it - as his defense isn't the best and shooting percentage isn't the best; however I'd pull they trigger depending on what the Pistons are asking for. He's a true PG and you can put Simmons at the 4 at the end of games (they've been experimenting with this a bit anyway at times when they're running Raul, Trey or even JRich at times with Ben) as D Rose is running the point - he's a crafty vet (i.e. another adult in the room like Butler was last year). Doesn't mean you have to take the ball out of Ben's hands in transition - just the halfcourt game when it slows down. D Rose would be an upgrade over Raul and Trey.

Who was the other team again? It doesn't matter!
