Possibly another subway themed horror. Looks like it was made in the last decade or two. Is it Christopher Smith’s ‘Creep’?

Is that Andy Serkis? Might be a clue if so.

Is that Andy Serkis? Might be a clue if so. I thought so too... I've seen him in a few horror movies, but none where I recall him being in a war setting.

I don't mean to cheat but I think I found what it is by seeing his filmography. Deathwatch.

I don't mean to cheat but I think I found what it is by seeing his filmography. Deathwatch. Correct. Deathwatch. I found the film to be alright. Nice build up, but I didn’t jive with the eventual payoff. There were a few war/horror films made around the same time; early to mid 2000s. ‘The Bunker’, ‘Below’ and ‘R-Point’. Heavy on moody atmospherics, slow tempo and psychological tension.

I've these Outpost movies with Ray Stevenson recommended a number of times. Do you happen to know if those are along the same lines? Outpost was rather decent for how it turned out. The sequel was below average. Cheaper looking and less competent with a story that got in the way by over-complicating the original’s backstory. I haven’t bothered with the third film, which was a prequel of sorts. But all three films tie in together with their plots. But I don’t think the sequels are necessary. The original film with Stevenson was rather straightforward compared to the aforementioned horror-war films above (Deathwatch, The Bunker etc). Therefore I enjoyed it more, in spite of the story’s clunky logic. Mainly centred around the nazi ghosts and their backstory. It’s creative, but you could poke holes in it. However there‘s nothing psychological here. No teasing in what could be a tale of madness. Simply its a survival ghost film with Nazi spirits nastily killing off a bunch of trapped mercenaries in an old abandoned bunker in the middle of nowhere.

I feel like I should recognize this guy but I can only think of little monster franchises that I know this little thing doesn't belong to at all. I'm guessing this is one of a variety effects in whatever movie it is from, but I'd need more to go on.
