TheGoodMan19 I saw DZ on the BIG Screen …. those ice palace scenes were really something … BUT the love story and what I recall as the overplaying of Lara's Theme …  Need to watch it again before my VHS tape self destructs ! Have not seen it more than the one time !

The deserters turning the new recruits of the road When the people are ransacking the Zhivago/Gromeko rooms and how Yevgrav stops it with one snap of his finger The train ride to Yuriatin The Scene with Zhivago and Strelnikoff The Brotherhood of the Forest taking Zhivago The attack of the Military Academy boys on the Brotherhood
it still has a soft spot in my heart. Always will

Saw Zhivago in '79 on a first date. She and I watched it again last year.

Totally understandable ... I have a lot of movies doing the same and many are not as good as DZ !
