It's with a sad heart that I must announce the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at age 87, after a long battle with cancer. May she RIP.
I dread to even think of whom the Orange Baboon will pick to replace her!

Our country has lost a giant. Her legacy is huge; her place in history is permanent. She will be remembered forever.
Rest in peace, Ruth Bader Ginsberg (1933-2020).

I dread to even think of whom the Orange Baboon will pick to replace her! After posting this message, I learned that Ms. Ginsburg's last wish is that she not be replaced until a new president is seated in the White House. And Congress intends to keep her deathbed request--even Republicans. If Trump throws a tantrum over this, well, it's just too damn bad!

I'll try, tele--but it's VERY difficult, especially nowadays. Even on sites like GoComics, the message boards for perfectly innocent and funny comic strips turn into political rants.

Well, Justice Ginsburg was the subject of two films (waaay back in 2018, which seems like a long time ago). On the Basis of Sex is pretty good, although I prefer the documentary RBG. Politics aside, both films can be enjoyed for her relationship with her husband, who always supported and championed her career goals in an era when this wasn't so common.

Don't mind the subject, but please keep the balance! As Marianne so wisely pointed out, Ms. Ginsburg was the basis for two movies. So we really are on topic! Whether these films will be classics remains to be seen.
