Pretty freaking accurate to the book so far. The DA was more of a dick in the books if memory serves. Not just implying that Anderson not file evidence but out right tells him to destroy the fingerprint evidence. While I liked the book I thought the main bad guy was kind of a cop out to the psuedo-locked room mystery aspect of the plot . I know it's not actually a locked room mystery but it is the same idea "the impossible crime." I don't know, the how/why the impossible crime happened just left me "meh." on how King solved it. I did like the addition of Holly Gibney from the "Bill Hodges" series of books though.

I'm enjoying it so far. I didn't know it was based on a Stephen King book until after I saw the first episode. Knowing it was a Stephen King book, it made more sense.

Episode 3: Show took a nose dive. Dont see it recovering. Unfortunate. Why do you think that? I've just seen it and thought it was a good episode.

Again, I enjoyed episode 3 but I can see why the change could make some people lose interest.

While I haven't read the book I've heard that the ending is a major cop-out. Perhaps Price and Dennis Lehane can come up with a better solution?

I just finished the novel Mr Mercedes yesterday and The Outsider is connected to it via the character Holly, apparently. So that's cool.

I am on episode five now and I am in love. This show is fantastic. The music and atmosphere make the show and I love the characters.

Just saw the first episode last night.
It seems like The Dark Half so far but I assume there will be more to it.

Once you know...at least somewhat...what the threat really is. I'm caught up. He is definitely revisiting common themes. Love the Cynthia Erivo character. She actually feels like the lead. I'm not really feeling the supernatural aspects of it as they feel more routine. The mystery is definitely the strong point.
