"Any theaters we can get it into at any point I'm pushing for," Johnson told Insider. "I want more people to have the opportunity to be able to watch it."

Rian Johnson tells Wired, he's now officially started on Knives Out 3. "It’s such a weird time right now because I’m just starting to work on writing the next mystery movie, and it’ll be a few years before it comes out and God only knows what the landscape’s gonna look like at that point," Johnson says of the threequel, hopeful it will be able to play in more theaters. "I feel like trying to guess where we’re gonna be next is maybe a fool’s errand." movieweb.com/knives-out-3-work-started/

GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY contains flashbacks where a certain moment is shown more than once in order to reveal information. This works whenever said moment is presented from a different point of view, but sometimes, it’s the same shot with the same actors where a character does something slightly different. That feels like cheating. Compared to KNIVES OUT, the comedy is weaker and the satire is more obvious. Also, what made that movie so memorable was the way in which it broke some rules that felt essential to stories about a murder mystery… while still being traditional enough to feel like another entry in the genre. This sequel doesn’t play with the formula in the same way. Don’t get me wrong. All of the plot twists are good, but in terms of unpredictability; not in terms of reinventing storytelling structure.
