Interested in hearing from this board as a lot of posters here appear to see a lot of new release films.
For the record I don't see a lot of new releases myself as I'm pretty picky with what I chose to see and I'm usually about 6-12 months behind even on the ones I do want to see.
To date I've seen a mere 18 films with a 2019 IMDb release date. My Top 5 so far:
Portrait of a Lady on Fire A Hidden Life The Lighthouse Parasite A Girl Missing
Still particularly interested in seeing The Halt, Midsommar, Dragged Across Concrete, Joker, Judy, Marriage Story, The Irishman

I've seen too few films from last year to really be able to make a definitive list. The ones I've seen that stood out:
Knives Out
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
Joker
Woman at War
At Eternity's Gate
The last two are technically 2018 films, but were only released in my country in 2019.

So far... (I've got lots more to see.)
1. The Irishman 2. Midsommar 3. Glass 4. Richard Jewell 5. The Professor and the Madman
Marriage Story would've been #6. I didn't like Dragged Across Concrete, particularly the ending.

is it bad I can't decide between Parasite and 1917. No, if they're that close, they're that close. Sure I've got a few years like that.
