still alive and ok, but one of my friends tested positive but he says he is doing better already - he got tested 10 days ago when he first had symptoms, self isolated immediately after the test presuming he had it - was right. he said its mostly fatigue and headache and some mild cough. now getting better. A) Glad to hear you're okay!
B) Glad to hear your friend is feeling better. I read an article of how people that are testing positive for it are getting all kinds of different symptoms. And some are having much milder outbreaks than others. I like to think that's good news, seeing as how people are getting this and making it through.
yeah hearing that too. now two of my friends have it and each has very diff symptoms. but both mild. one has fatigue and headache, the other one had stomachache and fever... so it really seems to do different thing to different people. I am coughing a bit but no fever (knock in wood)

Still alive but pretty upset over being out of a job and not getting paid until the Shutdown in our country is over. From what our Prime Minister, Scott Morrison has said the Shutdown could last for 6 months or more and that will be the longest amount of time I haven't worked since I was a teenager and was living with my Sister and I am hoping it ends earlier than that. I am happy none of my family or friends have the Coronavirus so that is one positive thing. What does your government plan to do while everyone is out of work? As you probably know, the US is sending everybody 1,200 dollar checks (we're out of work also).

Still alive. My wife and I have been both working from home. I started a new job last Monday so I'm figuring everything out remotely. Not a lot of fun. I wake up every morning with severe anxiety that fortunately slowly goes away as the day goes on. But I go through it every morning which stinks. Guess I should count my blessings though that I am still collecting a paycheck. I accepted the job before all this virus stuff got real serious here in the states, otherwise, I might have just stayed at my old job until things calmed down. Doesn't leave me with a lot of time to watch movies or TV though, thus the reason I haven't been on the forum here much.

I also made my big work decisions before the crisis started, its hard with things like that to estimate βgood timingβ. glad your new company hired you though!

So Corona killed you AND brought you back? How nice of it to do that for you! It didn't have to. It could have just left you dead.

I'm still alive. No Coronavirus here.
At least as of this writing! 3-26-20 LOL! Self quarantined and catching up on a lot of ME time! Not everyone is so lucky though.
I hope everyone, all of you, are safe and sound as well.
Please sound off and let me know you're okay! Still alive but going stir-crazy. We have a 24 hour curfew right now. Before that it was from 7:00am - 3:00pm and it was bad, but not so bad. It's been almost one month now since the curfews began and I can't stand being inside for so long!!!!!!!!!!

Still here and working. Am part of necessary services, though nothing health threatening. Just help keeping things going.

Nora, I hope your friends who tested positive are doing better. Also, it may cheer you up to know my household shelters a collection of stuffed animals. I check in with them every once in a while to see how they're making it through this trying time. I'm still here (as far as I can tell) but slowly but steadily going crazy with cabin fever. Yes, we're allowed to go grocery shopping, but that gets pretty old pretty fast. The not-so-good news is that my poor sister is still under the weather (and that reminds me of another factor rubbing salt in our wounds: it's been raining or overcast almost every day of the last couple of weeks--and we're in Southern California!), and while it's pretty unlikely that she has COVID (she tested negative for it about a month ago and hasn't been outside since, except to the doctor's office), she's been ill for about six weeks now. So even if we weren't under house arrest Stay-At-Home regs, along with all the fun or interesting places being shut down, we wouldn't be able to go much of anywhere. And I also worry about both of my sons, who are still living in NorCal. The older one has/had a supervisory job in a bookstore, the younger one in a top-of-the-line hotel...so you can imagine how much job security either of them has. The good news: those of us down here have plenty of food and water (and we even have a local source for paper towels and tp, as long as we buy either of them a roll or occasionally a package at a time). And of course, we have our computers, our TV, and our books--both print and electronic. And since all three of us (my husband, my sick sister, and I) have retired, we don't have to worry about losing our jobs. Consequently, someone might point out--justifiably--that I have little or nothing to complain about, but...we just moved down to this area in late January, and barely had the chance to do any of the things we planned to do, so...well, there it is. To anybody who's stuck with me up to now, thanks for letting me vent. That helps.

Hi, thanks, all my friends that tested positive that I know of have recovered or are recovering at home, with no need to go to the hospital. So thats some good news. And 2 of them are over 60 so its not like only young people recover. All the best to your sister!! yes, I am so thankful for having computers and internet around these days. Cant even imagine what it would be like without it. I guess we would read books and play desktop games.

My immediate family and I are all Covid-19 free. Just getting through it all a day at a time. Still working a couple jobs, a healthcare packaging facility and Walmart. Glad to see most of us are doing a bit better now.

They dramatically report the number of infected without stating how many of those have recovered, and/or are recovering. They report that infection number as all infected will die or need to go to the hospital. As if they're reporting battlefield injured and killed.
