Can make a movie about anything, they made one about dismemberments and castrations, similar to Hateful8 cause that's all Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez movies have to offer us. It's like the Mexican cartel directed this film.

Nope.
Well, I mean, it is disgusting in that it depicts disgusting things, but the movie is entertaining and visually fascinating and is about a world that is made up of bad people and worse people. It is pure escapist fantasy where the worst people are tortured and killed by other bad people.

I think the B&W and animation makes it less graphic than if it had been filmed in color in the regular way. So it lessens the disgust impact but overall I agree with the OP on the over the top violence it has.

I agree, the castration was disgusting and in poor taste. I have no desire to watch that movie again. I much prefer the sequel which is rewatchable.

On Best Gore I saw a picture of a guy dismembered very similar to this. Under a title caption that read, "Man won't be able to swim after cartel punishment".

If people can't make the distinction between movies and reality then they should seek mental help. Movies such as Sin City are cathartic for me and many people. We get a chance to see the people in power and the people protected by the people in power who often get away with horrible things get what they deserve in movie form.

I am satisfied with that answer.

You're either a sensitive snowflake or a lazy troll. I'll play along though. It's a very entertaining and innovative CRIME film about murderers and pedophiles and rapists and other unsavory types so why were you surprised it was violent? Are you startled when you watch a comedy and there are comedic situations? As far as you feeling there were too many scenes that made you feel squeamish you should have expected that too. It was a faithful adaptation of a GRAPHIC novel after all.

You mean like this guy who actually produced the film?

Oh yea, I hated Sin City. Any filmmaker that draws inspiration from Frank Miller comics is probably a chode.
