Look at all the people saying it's a complicated issue and confessing they don't—or can't—know the way god works, but have structured their answer as if their god's existence is an established fact which isn't a part of this "we can't ever know" shtick with no evidence whatsoever to back them up. But yet we are to believe god is complex and mysterious; believing in anything otherwise is being made out to be that of simplistic thinking—yet they're doing the same bloody thing with this "hey, god is really true" crap. It's all based on feelings.

It's not complicated at all.
Any complication is created solely by the silliness of the question's standards setting.

tpfkar God gives us our traits in addition to our free will. Some he gives enough to successfully make it to paradise. Others he gives less he thus condemns to damnation. In any case, God is putting all wherever they end up. wise men know when it's time to go

God gives us our traits in addition to our free will. What part of ---- Psalm 139:4 Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.
Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you
Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Ephesians 1:11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will
Psalm 33:11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand
Proverbs 16:9 The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you;
Psalm 138:8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
Job 5:12 He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success.
Psalm 33:10 The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
Psalm 94:11 The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile.
---- are you not understanding?

tpfkar Maybe so. For a lot of faithful, he doesn't. In any case, I'm willing to grant it in problem of evil-like discussions, in order to explore his actions and their implications on his character. good morning is a contradiction of terms

So, a lot of faithful just ignore what he says? That's somewhat counter to being faithful, isn't it?

tpfkar Are you feigning surprise at that? I'm not sure I have all the same conclusions as you on those quotations, but if you'd like to lay it out I'll be glad to respond if you wish. good morning is a contradiction of terms

So, a lot of faithful just ignore what he says? That's somewhat counter to being faithful, isn't it? The other possibility, I know this will seem like an impossibility to you, is that you are wrong and ignoring a lot of other scriptures and context to justify your incorrect point.
Try to be open minded to that concept for a second.

Explain the context of those quotes as to why they don't mean what they are literally stating, and quote those that I'm ignoring that are relevant.
