And now started re-reading Recollections of a Bleeding Heart: A Portrait of Paul Keating PM. The "bleeding heart" in question is the author, Don Watson, who was Keating's speech writer. Been at least 15 years since I last read it. So far every bit as good as I remember it being.

Would like to see someone adopt this book into a movie. What a crazy year for the 1978 Yankees. What a fun year for a Red Sox fan. I remember waking up every morning, grabbing the paper, checking the AL East standings, and seeing that "GB" number getting smaller and smaller. I invented a whole bunch of curse words that few 15 year old kids could have dreamed of.
This looks fun
