About 6 months ago they would not let me log into my account unless I sent them a photo ID of myself. After a lot of hassle I sent them a photo of my drivers license. After about four days they let me finally log on. Well today I get this from them:
Please upload a photo of yourself which clearly shows your face. When you send us a photo, we'll check it and then permanently delete it from our servers.
I think I will just forget about Facebook rather than send them another photo ID. Any of you ever have any trouble with Facebook?

Facebook has done this to me as well. More than likely, someone could've reported your account as fake. People suck! Sorry you have to go through this.

I deleted my Facebook account a long time ago, back when Zuckerberg, without telling users, added a feature where anyone viewing your profile could see every website you visit at any time.

Why would anyone in their right mind have anything at all to do with Facebook?

I don't know, jade. Keeping in contact with family who lives far away? Looking at photos and videos of loved ones?

Why would anyone in their right mind have anything at all to do with Facebook? Full of children, nincompoops, crackpots and bullies. And a prime target for hackers and identity thieves. I do not understand why any decent person would be there; but some are, and more's the pity they are not anywhere else!

But sometimes, a quick scroll to look at pictures to pass the time waiting in line at the supermarket is preferable. CIA minions? Lol. Relax. I doubt they'd be interested in a kid's birthday party.

I would've deleted FB right away, which I'm seriously thinking about doing anyway. I'm sick of it, to be honest, and don't get on it much anymore. I find it amazing that some people I know can't seem to live without it.

I doubt they'd be interested in a kid's birthday party. It's not the birthday party they're interested in, it's you and the thousands of other people who've freely handed over their personal data. If you think the intelligence industry is going to pass up a chance to access information like that, despite Facebook's privacy statements, you're dreaming.

You're dreaming if you think I've shared anything I'm scared of them getting. Besides, they've got your data from this website too. You're naive if you think you're safe here. They got you the second you logged onto the internet.

I think I will just forget about Facebook rather than send them another photo ID. Any of you ever have any trouble with Facebook? How certain are you that it is actually Facebook asking for this information? it sounds like either you have been hacked and they want to verify you are really you or someone is actively trying to hack your account and needs information on your license. Be careful.

Never had Facebook, never wanted Facebook, and now with all the crap about Facebook, never will have Facebook. End of.
It seems to me that Facebook is like time-sharing. When you're in it you find that it's crap.
