He's bald by now enough to need a wig, so why not.

Sounds almost as bad as Dustin Hoffman.
Maybe he can pull it off but he seems a bit too muted.
They need someone with the intensity of a Tommy Lee Jones which is hard to find these days.
Gregory Peck was a rare case where a romantic leading man could play a classic villainous character albeit a little young--but he had the voice. Too many vocal weaklings these days.
Not like the old days with Hans Conreid.

Maybe they should go a different direction and cast Shu Qi.

Well apparently Will Smith turned down the part of Hook.

Jude Law is totally wrong. Cast an unknown if you have to, but Hook needs personality.

I'm not sure the world needs another Peter Pan movie.

I'm not sure the world needs another Peter Pan movie. Apparently this is a remake of the Disney Peter Pan, but yes I agree.

I just don't see Jude Law as Hook. Law has no personality.

Jim Gaffigan is Mr. Smee.
Unmmmmmm..... are they purposely looking for the worst cast?

Unmmmmmm..... are they purposely looking for the worst cast? Some may say worst, others would say "cheapest".

I'm a big Gaffigan fan, but no. No, no, no, no, no. They're ruining this.

Truthfully I don’t understand why so many people dislike it.

what was wrong with Hoffmans Hook? I loved that movie with him in the role. Not emotive enough. It's subdued.
Hoskins is more energetic and steals the scenes from him.

Interesting, I expected the opposite actually, that it was overdone and too emotional/big. Never saw Hoskins"s Hook, will have to look it up.
