A person finished watching this show and the first thing they talk about is not the final scene? I think that's a first. I’ve seen it before. Cause the final scene sucked donkey balls! They overused that now painful song!!! Although that sing was killed by Monster with Charlize Theron.

Yup. All except Feech. Feech didn’t give a sh-t who Tony was. I forgot who he was-Robert Loggia. He wasn't in it too long--back to prison for him!
Burt Young I also recall as a hit man with bronchitis.
I always liked how they got rid of Feech. He wouldn't have known that he was set up.

I always liked how they got rid of Feech. He wouldn't have known that he was set up.
One could never really sympathize with Tony (or any of the others). He would occasionally seem like the most moral character-especially compared to a Ralphie, but then he would get so violent--like when he knocked out that guy's teeth against the table for insulting his daughter.
And he wouldn't hesitate to kill someone close if it served a purpose like Christopher after the car wreck or his girlfriend for telling him to turn informant (that was a rough one-the FBI were not portrayed as nice either!).
I kind of think even Melfi wasn't so wonderful given she just told him to get lost.
But the episode where he forces Bobby to kill an innocent civilian was black humor at its finest.

So i recently restarted this series again...just finished season 1. A few newer thoughts....I really liked Mikey Palmice. He was kind of a jerkoff but theyre all kind of jerkoffs and the only reason i could see that makes us as viewers hate Mikey is because other characters, especially Tony, hated Mikey. Meanwhile what i noticed is that Tony and Mikey often have these little verbal back and forths and Tony rarely leaves with the upper hand. Mikey is simply wittier than Tony, that's why Tony eventually has to just physically beat him down because he knew Mikey was smarter than him.
Also Mikey as Juniors right hand was very enjoyable. They had a really interesting relationship as Mikey was kind of the devil on Juniors shoulder, at least when it came to Tony, and Junior was temperamental and wishy washy a lot of the time.
I also always remember how disjointed the pilot feels from the rest of the series and couldn't help but notice that Silvio, in the pilot, seems more separated from the group. Like they don't expect him to show up at the meat place where they all hang out. Connected but not one of them, was the vibe in the pilot. He also seemed to only have a loose knowledge of who Artie was, which watching the rest of season 1 seems odd considering how often Artie is among them, at the club, arties restaurant, kids soccer games, etc. But clearly by episode 2 they have him as a long term friend of Tony and full fledged member.

I love it. I've just finished watching five seasons back to back. I'm hesitant about watching season 6 because of the ending, which I've read about. I'm afraid it will ruin everything that came before, like the ending of GoT did. While I get why people got pissed of at the ending, I believe that, unlike GOT, the ending of The Sopranos gets a bit better with time.

Lost, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter. But The Sopranos and Breaking Bad nailed it.

Just thought id mention that this is probably my favorite scene from season 1. The music, the snap out of lethargy for Tony, the violence....probable spoilers for season 1 altho its nothing too major.
