tpfkar If there is anything in addition to defense that we should be pulling together and providing universally, it is health care. flirted with you all my lifeWhat about food? What about housing? Libs always jump to health care. They're either sick or hate poor people. Everyone knows the only reason Libs love socialist health care so much is because it's welfare for themselves. The most contentious parts of Obamacare are all the mandates for things like psychiatry, alcoholism, drug rehab, birth control pills. This is the stuff you guys get.

tpfkar I didn't know libertarians were all that hot and bothered for universal healthcare. But at least your posts do constantly remind of another thing we really need to pull together and provide universally, a 6th grade equivalent education, social and otherwise. everybody knows

I am not aware of the American health care plans and what they do or do not cover, but I will say that any country that has the means (and the majority of the West, including America, absolutely have those means) to provide coverage for pre-existing conditions but chooses not to, is under the thrall of the devil and is in direct opposition to the teachings of Christianity. That is not what insurance is. Insurance indemnifies risk. If you burn your own house down, that is not an insurable event. If you commit suicide, that is not an insurable event. MOST health care expense is for lifestyle disease, people who don't exercise, don't eat right, etc... Maybe you think you're eating right. The government tells everyone to eat partially hydrogenated soybean oil. It was the cooking oil used by every restaurant and processed food manufacturer for decades, because the government pushed it on us. If I already pay more money to buy alternatives because I know better, how and why am I supposed to pay extra to cover your health care? I should be saving on my own health care. Health care doesn't make you healthy. The most simple way to see this is to look at the rise of health care expenditure over the years. A third of us are obese. Over half are overweight. Diabetes is hitting in childhood. In America, our health care is already more socialist than anywhere in the world. Medicare alone costs more than the entire health care system in any other country per capita. What progress has Medicare made toward busting up the Pharma cartel? None. It's now the biggest industry in the world, bigger than oil. The number one most prescribed drugs are Statins, ahead of antidepressants and painkillers. They block cholesterol production. Cholesterol is a nutrient. What if this is a big scam? There's no way to opt out. We're forced into allowing our fellow citizens to harm themselves. Is that Christian? Maybe "health care" ought to mean gym memberships, nutritious food, prostitutes, etc... Not drugs. Maybe it should mean blood tests and physiology textbooks, not psycho analysis and Ritalin. Our system is backwards under Obamacare, which actually outlawed catastrophic coverage in favor of all these boondoggles. Maybe young people don't want any of it. They want to save everything they can so they can buy a house and have stability for the rest of their lives before they think about anything else. Young people are all living with their parents these days. I think you think my way is cruel because you don't understand it and maybe now you will. I think your way is criminal, the hijacking of a quarter of the economy. Health care used to be so cheap that people didn't want insurance.

What part of, "Piss off, Supes" do you not understand? Don't you have some more doxing and Internet intimidation to do? When you can post a picture of Cine wearing his freemason hat, I'll be impressed. Yeah fuck you Erjen, public board. My child suffered health problems when she was born so I unlike you can empathise with Fallon and his child. You on the other hand have once again demonstrated you don't actually give a shit about anyone. Jimmy Kimmel's son is a parasite who will never work a day in his life. How much money do you make that you can share his contempt for the working class?

Sorry.. The dude who made that video. Why? Because he told the truth? The child of an elitist media whore almost dies after being born, and then everyone pull out your hanky to dab the tears......because they see this child.....because the father is an elitist media whore. Yup, you're definitely a piece of shit, ErJen.

Yup, you're definitely a piece of shit, ErJen. There's something noteworthy in this kid being verbally bashed simply because he's the offspring of someone who gained some form of fame. I'm glad Kimmel took the time and used his exposure to bring it to attention. It's brought out a lot of hidden truth in the "pro-life party".

He used his own situation to argue that anyone who's all for taking away healthcare for the more vulnerable in society who don't have the benefit of lots of money like he does, so they don't lose their children unnecessarily, is a heartless bastard. The example of this thread is not about obese people, but people who are born with life-threatening conditions that unless they get regular treatment/procedure and or medicine, they will die. Kimmel's son is one such example. I am another. What do you do with people like that? But as to your general question "why am I supposed to pay extra to cover you," well, why bother with human civilization at all if you're going to ask something like that? Why not just use minorities as human slaves, why not exploit anyone that is deemed week and can't stand up for themselves etc. etc. - if we're all just going to take care after ourselves and let all others die, why not abandon all illusions that mankind can coexist?

I had television once, and I remember him when back when he was Adam Corolla's sidekick, and I'm happy for him that he's a big star now, and I'm happy for him that his son didn't die, but come on. He could have expressed his gratitude without the socialized medicine commercial.

What a whore!
