Hopefully you would admit "the sophisticated weasel type" is not a man most would see as moral, ethical, courageous and deserving of respect. Absolutely...but I don't always need my protagonist to be someone i look up to. I enjoy plenty of protagonists with questionable morality and character. For example...i dont think anyone is arguing that Marty Byrde (Ozark) is a man to model your life after. I agree. But it seems Bateman --- for whatever reasons --- is being typecast as "the emasculated man". In today's political climate, it would seem Jason is playing what the liberal politically correct crowd is demanding --- "minorities good - white man bad, women strong - man weak". As a white male, it's insulting and offensive. More to the point, I'm pretty much turned off from any TV show or movie starring Jason Bateman. He always seems to play a character I don't want to be. A character the liberal progressives are trying to promote --- "all white men are pathetic". The only white men celebrated by the liberal progressives are these "vagina men". You know, the crying man, the liberal activist, the racial apologist, the historical revisionist, the guy who cares more about "feelings" than right and wrong, the guy with the hair bun, the ponytail, the dreadlocks, the guy who would rather live off of government programs, than start their own business, the guy who would rather bend over and take it up the ass, than fight for whatever is right, . . . etc.

No. I'm just expressing my feelings, point of view and visceral reaction to Jason Bateman. He disgust me. And this is why I think he does.

Somebody with good morals, ethics, courage and respect. Hancock I've never seen "Hancock". But from what I can surmise --- no. Jason Bateman probably once again plays the cuckold, foolish doormat. And Will Smith plays a superhero who cannot balance his super powers, courage and responsibility, with consideration for others and social obligation. Not a good example of a man males should aspire to be.

I've never seen "Hancock". But No, no. No need to continue. That's all the information we need.

As I told Marv, "No. I'm just expressing my feelings, point of view and visceral reaction to Jason Bateman. He disgust me. And this is why I think he does."Are you saying I don't have the right to my opinion? Are you saying I don't have the right to express my thoughts and feelings?

Are you saying I don't have the right to my opinion? Are you saying I don't have the right to express my thoughts and feelings? I'm saying that analyzing a movie like that is invalid without even watching it. Just say that you're not interested in watching HANCOCK and leave it at that.

Not a good example of a man males should aspire to. I'm confused. It seems like yo assessment is based entirely upon a presumption of him. How many Jason Bateman movies have you even seen? You also don't seem to know what the ideals you think he should have mean. What am I missing?

That is not a very impressive rebuttal vits. I'm probably right on. What rebuttal? You asked a "Yes" or "No" question.
