Yeah, I just noticed the IMDB score, it should be higher.. The Criminal is not well known in general, it should be more famous. I'm happy I bought the DVD blind. I love Joseph Losey's movies in general, I think it's my favourite of his, among those I saw. It's a toss up with The Servant, for me. The Serpent and the Rainbow is worth revisiting, IMO. It's supposedly very loosely based on a true story. Oh wait I was thinking of lair of the white worm! Serpent and the rainbow I’ve seen also, pretty good grounded take on zombie culture 6/10 Oh, yeah, Lair of the White Worm is good. Haven't seen it in a while. yeah, Serpent is based on a non fiction book of an anthropologist who went to Haiti to study the zombies phenomenon in Voodoo culture (actually, a single precise case, I think).

I think I saw Altered States, but I don't remember it that well.

I've actually seen The Devils years ago, I'm not sure what cut it was, loved it though. I liked Tommy. I think I saw Altered States, but I don't remember it that well. Yeah come to think of it I’m not sure what cut of the devils I saw, it was quite a while ago as well I think I've read somewhere that the actual theatrical cut is not available anywhere, I'm not sure if it's true or not. I did watch it on a vhs, that I remember. Gothic, I liked that too, it's pretty insane. It's the one about Lord Byron and Percy and Mary Shelley.
