I think it looks great. Also way more elaborate than the 1984 version.

Clearly it's a must see, but it does look grim, and a bit joyless. That could be a problem.

Copy from what I said in the other thread:
Okay, so as expected it looks absolutely amazing. I love the brown/yellow/red desert-like palette that they seem to go for. It's a palette that can easily become boring if not handled well, but it looks so vibrant and beautiful in the trailer. Also, this is most excited I've ever been about a worm. And I know the reason why they use it is because the actual score isn't finished yet, but I'm usually not a big fan of using an existing song in a movie that won't likely feature in the movie. But this is an exception, the use of Pink Floyd in Dune's trailer is nothing short of incredible. If there's one word to describe it, it's 'epic'. Whether it's a hit or a flop, it's gonna be ambitious and epic either way. My most anticipated movie of 2020 and the trailer confirms my excitement.

You know one thing I've always disliked about Lynch's Dune is how drab and unappealing Arrakis looked, and it looks like they've more than made up for that here.

I knew it. Closing the trailer with a glory shot of a sandworm!

A curious lack of Sting.

Visually this looks impressive. Not quite on the same level as BR 2049, but still full of impressive and stunning shots. The action looks exciting, and overall I am still curious. Plus that was a great use of Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon.
I disliked both the lynch monstrosity and the miniseries, this new adaptation might make up for it.

Visually it looks good but still not completely sold even if I'll watch it.

Clearly it's a must see, but it does look grim, and a bit joyless. That could be a problem. Isn't Dune supposed to be grim? Yes but what they’re driving at is it’s a tough sell to mainstream audiences. What was the last dark sci-fi movie that was a gargantuan box office hit?

It looks like it is meant to be grim, but doesn't feel grim. I can't make heads or tails of the tone of the movie. David Lynch's version is straight-up horror-esque grim. This movie doesn't look like it was helmed by the same filmmaker as any of his other movies. It looks more generic than that imo. If I didn't know it was based on one of the greatest sci-fi novels ever written, I would think it was based on one of those Divergent type books with a director for hire making it.

I’m looking forward to this but this trailer is underwhelming in the extreme. I’m more nervous than ever now about whether they have pulled this tricky adaptation off.
There’s not much humour in the book so I expected something a little po-faced... but not the dull palette and overall murky look. The trailer actually bored me, which is a bad sign in an eagerly-awaited, two-minute teaser for a mega-budget epic based on a novel I like a lot.

The Lynch movie has its virtues, and I applaud the ambition... clearly much of it doesn’t work, such as the inner monologues, but it’s not terrible. I did see the mini-series but don’t recall much about it... I found it pretty dull, I think.

By the way, I'm not one for hyperbole, but I think this has the potential to be the greatest film ever made.
