if "rules" of the game are confusing … this is a great place to get them clarified … the regular players will be more than happy to help and the games won't be interrupted.

How's everyone enjoying the pandemic? Every day is a rerun of the last one for me, thankful to have this game to occupy my brain. I work in the travel industry so that's pretty much at a standstill for me for almost a year now. My spirits are surprisingly high, I blame all the coffee I'm drinking. Keep on keepin' on!   |

Things keep getting worse for the travel industry at the moment. I never would have guessed it would go on this long back in March. The end is not in sight yet! Where I am in Canada it's quite good at the moment, and has been for most of the pandemic, except for at the start. Has it disrupted your life much where you are?

Yes. I live in the USA in Wisconsin. The last day that felt normal to me was March 13th, 2020. Our governor shut everything down in the state on March 24th, 2020. My job converted to work at home. While I was glad to have a job, the sheer isolation of working at home was terrible. Then I found out the job was going to become permanently at home. I couldn't do that so I got another job that is 100% not at home which keeps me much happier. I do get tired of the news and the Internet telling us every day how many people are dying from this freaking COVID virus. We are almost at half a million deaths in the USA. Hopefully with us having a different President, things will move along swifter. I agree with what Prime Minister Trudeau did by closing the borders between Canada and the USA. Our numbers here are terrible with the positivity rates.

Until COVID, I never knew that the total population of Canada was so small. Only about 37 million give or take. I guess there is a lot of open space up there which is good. I always thought the population of Canada was like around Japan's or Russia's population 125-155 million.

The population of the UK is around 66 million or so and I believe Australia is about 25 million and Canada is around 36 million.

brandomarlon2003 - That UK number is probably an official census count. Add another 20% or more on that, which has been increasing annually for illegals, and the figure would be a more realistic one.

I don't think this is an issue anymore with the current tab structure. Also, it makes it easy to search to see if you're about to repeat a topic. My Song Titles part 2 is 1100+ posts and I doubt anyone has a problem with that.

FWIW ..the word association game on "other games" has 1078 PAGES of replies and 21,547 posts (so far) The OP meant well posting the "rules" but many of them were outdated immediately because of the new board structure as well as by the reduced population playing the games.
